If you are searching for an English CDM in the Prem then he is the right choice for your squad.

He is a wall against the wall, similar to FUT 20/21 Kanté and he is the perfect classical defensive midfielder. This guy got only one job: Playing against the ball! His interceptions are awesome and he is fast and strong enough to compete against top notch players.

At the time I use him together with Oxford in a 4-2-3-1 and together they keep them attackers away from my defense line.

So this is simple. If you want a CDM à la Casemiro, Javi Martínez, Kante, De Rossi, Gattuso or Prime Mascherano, then Rice is even better. And just to say, these legends are illustrated in their Real Life performances!

I was using World cup stories rabiot and 87 Tonali as my CDM's then i saw Declan rice and i completed him and he has been nothing short of phenomenal His animations are out of this world and i pair him up with 87 tonali so their physical presence is fantastic and his shooting is not bad at all if he ever gets the ball outside the 18 yard box then don't hesitate to shoot with him his long passing is great just don't cross the ball with him and his pace is great and so is his dribbling his movement around the pitch is literally perfect never too forward and plays like a proper CDM and he does not feel like a truck u can turn around pretty smoothly.
