I use a Spurs PnP team and was excited to see 86 Lamela come in a pack. After his 88 upgrade I decided to give him a try at RM. Makes no sense to me why he is so cheap. His left foot finesse shots are incredible and his ball control/passing is much better than expected. He kind of feels like a much better Perisic OOP.

Definitely excited to see how this card plays out with Sevilla's history in the Europa.

I have used him in the CAM position in a LaLiga squad and he was amazing! He was destroying players like TT Ferdinand with his pace and dribbling.

His shooting was amazing and the weakfoot was not that bad. Every pass was perfectly on to the players foot. His skillmoves came of really quickly as well!

All in all a amazing card you wouldnt have to replaca for long.

I've played with a lot of end game cards, some worth 3 million. Now that he has received all the upgrades, it's impossible to overstate how broken this card is in game. There only one CAM in the game that has 90+ pace, 90+ shooting, 90+ passing, 90+ dribbling, and 90+ physical: Erik Lamela. In the whole game, he's the only card that has those stats alongside 5*/5*.

2500+ base stats doesn't even tell half the story. 90+ ratings in 5 stat categories is not an exaggeration either. Lean body type, 5'11, base 92 sprint speed and 95 acceleration, H/H work rates, and 95 stamina means he will literally be everywhere. Long Passing and short passing are both above 90, and with 94 vision he will ping passes across the field. His long shots are dynamic, but with Hunter applied you are looking at 96 finishing, 97 positioning, and 99 shot power alongside 99 acceleration + sprint speed. Every dribbling stat except composure (which is at 88) is above 90, so he is completely serviceable there. With 5* weak foot and 5* skill moves, you can skill and shoot from anywhere. You basically have the perfect offensive weapon for any La Liga or Argentina squad. I use Montiel at CB and Molina at RB and we're at near perfect chem after that.

In my 433(4), he is now the most important card, over TOTS Pedri, TOTS Salah, TOTY Benzema, and TOTS Modric. I can't justify benching him for anybody in the game, and believe me, I've tried. All the expensive replacements (94 Ronaldinho, 93 Gullit, 97 KDB) give similar if not worse results. Plug him in as your CAM and you'll get some enjoymen tin the game

PACE: 9/10 He is really fast. I mostly played against defenders like Toty Van dijk, WW Tomori, Centurions Kimpembe and he was faster than them.

SHOOTING: 10/10 He finished most of the shots with incredibble power and precision. His positioning was really good. I played him on Cam but switched him on Striker with Toty Messi who was assisting Lamela. Only thing which let me down was the 3 star weak foot.

PASSING: 9/10 He has really good lobbed through passes and really knows how to pass.

DRIBBLING: 10/10 He didnt fell heavy at all. He suprised me with how good his shielding was. He was agile and 4 star skills helped him.

DEFENDING: 5/10 He was really agressive and rushed into tackles.

PHYSICAL: 8/10 He knew how to shield the ball and his stamina is really good.

I don't know why it's so cheap, but the truth is that after going up to 88, I tried it as a starter and it surprised me quite a bit, as well as coming off the bench.
It is very good on cam, with basic or engine. His abilities are good, if he goes up more it will be crazy, physically and passing very well as well as shooting, and the rhythm is good.
