Really Good

Hello guys and welcome to a review on this 91 rated TOTS Lutsharel Geertruida.

I saw this card and thought to myself; He looks crazy! 90 PACE on a 91 rated CB. I bought him for 120k and then packed him from the "five Netherlands rare gold players pack". I tried Geertruida as a CB, however I didn't get the "Auto Defender" feel from him. Personally I want the Auto Defender thing on my CB's so I decided to use him as a RB. He was very good there and I got Capdevila vibes from him. He is 185 cm/ 6'1'' and according to me he is a little to small for the CB position however he is a rock in the RB position.

After using Geertruida for the whole WL, the qualifiers and som Rivals games, this is my thoughts on him:

PACE (9/10):

As a CB he is 10/10 Pace however as a RB he's a 9, because he can get outpaced by the superfast players like, Vini, Mané, Al Owairan and Diaby.

SHOOTING (6/10):

I have scored 5 goals with him however 3 are from corners. One goal was an open goal sweat and the other one was a low shot to the far post. He can score from a good position however his 67 Shot Power and 57 Long Shots are to low.

PASSING (8/10):

His short passing is good, his crosses are fantastic and long passes is good enough. However sometimes he can miss a pass, but his passing is overall good.

DRIBBLING (8/10):

Only 3* Skills makes his dribbling a bit restricted. He is OK on the ball however he seems to be very big in game and takes some weird touches. If you ONLY use your fullbacks for defense, he is perfect but for someone like me who uses him with Overlap instructions he is a bit to bad on the ball.

DEFENDING (10/10):

I review Geertruida as a RB now and his defending is definitely top tier for a RB and it is hard to find a fullback with better defending. However as a CB his defending does not feel like 10, but more like 9 or 8,5.

PHYSICALITY (10/10):

His physicality is surprisingly good. He feels like Capdevila when going in to tackles. The physicality on Geertruida is also a 10 if you use him as a CB.

If you like Capdevila, I would say that this is your RB.

-He is very, very, very cheap. Amazing value.

-High defensive work rate.

-You can use him as both CB and RB.

-Sometimes bad on the ball.

-Bad links for some people.

-3* 3*.

-Medium attacking work rate. This is only bad if you use him as a fullback.
