    I have a player I only want to do the first step of 'Stop right there evo' with. To put him in another evo, do I have to wait till 'Stop right there' is expired or can you just put the 'in progress card' into another evo?

    It won't let you use in an-progress evo. If you try you will get a message that this player is already in an active evo or something to that effect.
