Ruud Gullit has been added as an icon sbc in FC 25! Alot of players call this item overpriced and outdated nowadays, which I could maybe see. I used him in a 4-3-3 (4) as a midfielder on the left utilizing his B2B role+. He fits so well into basically all midfields, as you can also use his shadow striker role ++. I put an ENGINE on him to particularly boost his pace, and agility and balance. If you need some extra defense, an ANCHOR would be perfect. With the ENGINE pace was pretty good, sometimes felt a bit sluggish. I found it useful to do some steopovers to give a slight boost, and get into more dangerous areas. The rapid playstyle also helps him massively. Lethal shooting, and such good runs. Using his powershot playstyle he didnt miss a shot, even without a chemistry style boosting shooting. Superb volley long shots aswell, even with only 85 volleys. Passing is great, but no passing playstyle lets him down. Very good overall ingame stats on his passing with the ENGINE. His vision, and short passes was very good. Obvious difficulty with through balls, and long passes without the playstyles. His pinged pass was very good still, hitting it good 9/10 times. Dribbling was meh. You really can notice the 80 agility and balance, as he failed the twists and turns. The rest of the dribbling was good, nice reactions and composure, but the agility and balance makes him feel mostly clunky. Not suited for alot of R1 dribbling, so rather make a quick pass or ball roll to get out of those situations. Defending was aight. Not much to say, just decent for a CM, especially with an ANCHOR. Physicality was great! So strong, easily pushing people out of the way. Even without the strongest physical stats, it's the body type and hair doing the talking. Really helped when running through defenders. Jumping was great, with the aerial+ playstyle, and being 193 cm, he didn't loose a header. With the 92 stamina he didn't get tired, and I didn't find it necessary to sub him out too early. Overall I say he is worth the coins if you want aura in your team, and an all around player. Could probably use as shadow striker role ++, but he isn't like say a shadow striker like Palmer, with weaker dribbling.
