Player Review

Hello my fellow EAFC/FIFA Enjoyers! Last week I was lucky enough to pack a tradable Sir Bobby Charlton and now I have him as first owner in my Squad, since I bought his Icon last year pretty early as well and loved him. So since this year the roles are (in my Opinion) pretty important, because of that it's not possible to play Bobby as a Striker as I did last year. He's now my CAM with Shadow Striker in an attacking 5-2-1-2. Behind Bobby are K. Thuram RTTK (B2B) and Bellingham RTTK (Playmaker). In front of him play Rashford Evo 85 and Thierry Henry, both with Advanced Forward. I am in DIV 1 right now (13th October 2024) and I finish my Weekend Leagues consistently at 11-4 so I would say I'm a pretty good player, not insane. I was really looking forward to playing him this year, also because Power Shot (+ even more) is absolutely ridiculous right now. All I have to say is: Bobby Charlton as a CAM with shadow Striker is all you can wish for. the Positioning, the Runs, the pace, the dribblings, these insane R1 and also Triangle passes and of course the ridiculous finishing. I knew he was going to be good, very good and still got surprised. HE IS INSANE!!! PACE: He feels faster than he is, the acceleration as well as the sprint speed. Since the Speedboats finally got patched and now it's possible to win sprint duels with your attackers, he feels really fast. If you can send him through with one of your CM's or Fullbacks and the first touch is good, he is gone. and of course he will finish the job, but more to that later. DRIBBLING: with the left stick dribbling being a little bit clunkier than last year I did not expect too much, rather was looking forward to L1 and L2+R2 dribblings with him since those are the Go-To's for small space dribbling this year. And he did not disappoint. The L2+R2 is maybe one of the best I've felt this year, maybe only a BIT worse than Neymar or Okocha. The R1 is just fine, better than most other players with it but nothing too crazy. Skill moves go through really good as well. You get what you expect here. PASSING: You really feel that he has the Incisive Pass and Long Ball Playstyles. It really makes a difference this year with through balls when players got the play styles for it. Also the hard R1 passes come through really nice. The chip balls to my strikers or Fullbacks are pretty consistent, but not to compare with the likes of Guijarro or Xavi Alonso (or anybody with Long Ball +). Defending: He's an attacker, I don't expect him to defend so I don't care about that. I think if you put him at CB he will not do you any big favors though. PHYSICALITY: Did not expect much, got more that I expected though. Stamina is fine since my Tactic does not use much stamina outside of the Fullbacks. and now, the SHOOTING: Right foot, left foot, finesse, trivial or power shot - HE DOES NOT CARE, he WILL put the Ball in the Back of the Net. Finesses are fine, nothing too crazy, outside the Box I'd rather use Power Shot or Trivial than Finesses. Trivela from Outside the Box are fine, nothing too crazy since he got over 90 shot power he does not get the OP Topspin Trivela Animation, but still really good. Inside the Box it's not important which Buttons you press as long the Shooting Button is pressed as well, he will slot it in. And now the Power Shots... well yeah the Power Shots are already really strong this year, even stronger with the Playstyle +, but they are CRAZY with Sir Bobby Charlton. Going a bit to for example the left to get the defending AI and the Keeper to move to this side and putting the Power Shot in the Right will get you a goal 8/10 Times, Taking any Volley-Power Shot and time it green will get you cracked goals 9/10 Times. It's so much fun. And OP. Of course everything I said counts for both feet. Another Thing I noticed with him is his off ball movement and his attacking AI. It's just different to other players. He makes Runs and goes into spaces without sending him there manually with L1 or R1, really really good.
