Player Review

Okay so I am someone who bounces between Division 3 and 2 in Rivals, and usually finishes Champs with 7-8 wins. Introducing Eriksen to my squad this week has been a game changer for me! I always use a 4222 formation with my DMs both playing the Deep Lying Playmaker role. My usual setup had 93 Beckenbauer as the RDM and a rotation between Thunderstruck Vieira, Fut Birthday Trent, and Thunderstruck Matthaus as the LDM. This week I ran exclusively with Eriksen in that spot, and my god the difference was immediately noticeable. Eriksen is like the best of all the other LDM options I had. He is silky smooth on the ball like Trent. His passing is even better than Trent or Matthaus's. He's got worse defending stats, but equal aura to Matthaus. For some reason, which I can't explain, Eriksen was always in the right place at the right time. He would pick up loose balls after my CBs would tackle the opponent, and his quick turning allowed him to dribble out of danger. He could see a ball that needed to be played, and he would execute an inch perfect delivery of that pass every time. Not sure how else to say this, but just try him out yourself. You will feel the difference. He helped me get to 9 wins this weekend, but it could realistically have been 10 or 11, had it not been for horrible server lag in a few games.
