I tried both of them in the midfield and let me start by saying Trippier is better than Atal. Atal's body type felt really weird for some reason which led to him not feeling speedy and rapid. Atal's shooting however was better especially the finishing. Trippier's passing skills are miles clear and on top of that his free kicks are really good. Their dribbling are similar even tho i found Atal's dribbling a bit better. Defensively, Trippier is clear. You just have to press the sprinting button and he will body the opponent and take the ball off him. He's a bully. Also Physically i found Trippier better. As I said he kind of pushes opponents off the ball without a foul. All in all Trippier is the better player in midfield and he's easier to link too. Hope this helped.
