best chem for CDM? pace boost would be nice so anchor or engine? artist looks good but there's no speed boost

if a player has a role++ at LM but then in game I change my tactic to a different formation and that same player is now playing at CAM, would he still have that role++ capability? and also would his chem and stats stay the same or go down if he can't play in that position?
