I can't understand why people play this game anymore, atleast the normal people who haven't made this game their job (YT/ insta). There is no reward for playing unless you buy store packs for $50-60 every promo. WL rewards are crazy diluted, earlier red picks gave few decent players in WL rewards, now it's just 2-3 84-85 rated gold cards. They have made all TOTW cards into SBC fodder, earlier you had 2-3 meta players in every TOTW that you could actually use in the team, now there are probably 3-4 in total till Feb. Earlier, Rare Mega packs and Ultimate packs had good weightage, now you get 83-84s from Ultimate pack. EA has screwed the players soo much that you only have to rely on real money to buy extravagant store packs that are the only generously weighted packs in game now. Imagine asking players to pay $50 each week for a game they used to pay $90 for an entire year.

This game has become such a sham this year, it's shameless scripting, you don't play against the opponent, you are playing vs the Game Al. If the Game is in your favour, you will get absurd jams/ glitches in passing/dribbling/ shots. If it is against you, your midfielders and defenders will literally be pushed away from the play, so many times you see defenders you don't control stroll away from the attacker to let him through. It's not enjoyable, you can't cherish goals you score because you can see the that the opposition was screwed by DDA. No sense of accomplishment if you win or lose.

If you want to have fun with him, play him CAM or LAM with an Engine. How he feels with an engine is most similar to how Zidane played, weaving through defenses and latch on to long shots. Playing him and R9 TT in the same attack gives me most pleasure I have had playing FIFA in years. Don't waste this card on B2B with Shadow/Anchor or Hunter, he feels like a giraffe on skates then.

Thanks, I agree, my issue with Theo was that he will be out of position and the pace although it's 99 for some reason can't catch up to top attackers and ended up being in lot of games where the opponent would target him. I used Mendy for 10-15 games and he is noticeably more assured.

I have Theo TOTS but he has been a bit mid for the last 2-3 weeks. Keeps going out of position even on Stay back, would Mendy be any better? Theo is exceptionally in terms of tackling and physical but I just need a LB that will stay the **** back.

EA should not be allowed to nerf players as they like. He has brilliant stats still but in 3-4 weeks he has gone from a OP card to absolute trash. It's bordering on fraud this kind of manipulation. It's not that he isn't effective as tots defenders are better. He has become noticeably poor in speed and dribbling even without defenders around him. He is now getting bodied by silver defenders in squad battles.

I played him on drafts without chem and that was possibly the best card performance in a match I have seen in 15 years of playing FIFA. He is a cheat code, his physics and animations are unlike any player his size.
