With Ronaldinho and Haaland as my two strikers, I dont need goalscorers anywhere else, what I do need is good support/utility players around them who can do everything well. This guy is one of those! The fact he has defensive stats, is left footed and has perfect set piece taking stats, makes him an absolute monster at playing his role as my freekick/corner taker and creative winger who also helps recover balls. Super complete with a Hawk, especially with the double 5 star. Amazing SBC, totally recommend him as a support player.

Did not enjoy him at CDM, I feel liks his medium/medium makes him a passanger defensively when you arent controlling him, he was a bit frustrating in that regard, played lazy. I enjoyed him very much at CB though. He is fast, he has good animations and he feels responsive. If you are wondering what his best position is, I would personally say the original one.

He feels like the best player in the game at defending honestly, at least from what I've used. Its insane how responsive he is at jockeying lol you're always in full control of him. Monster tackler when you're controlling manually and great interceptor and marker when you arent. Very capable and consistent passer too with decent dribbling and feels incredibly fast in game. Also love that he has LB as secondary position, ita great for squad building purposes

Disappointed with the upgrade, was expecting +2s with a few +3s because thats what EA usually does, but instead, there's a lot of stats EA gave him only +1s like positioning and ball control and then gave +5 on fk accuracy which is pointless and +3 on curve when its already super low. Still a great card regardless, but they definitely went easy on the upgrade.

He was my favorite CB I used this year but I stopped using him because EA released some really cool looking premium CBs like Buffon, Lauritsen, St Juste, Ferrari, etc and they all look better stats wise. I wanted to try out Ruben Neves who I packed a few days ago, so I threw Smalldini back in to link Tammy and I was surprised at how excellent Smalling still is. He plays way above his stats, his defensive AI is nuts, he has great interceptions and presence and wins everything in the air. Still the best CB I've used, prefer him over Buffon

Bought him to switch him in gane with Alaba, ended up learning that not switching then is actually the way to go. This guy is a rock at CDM and Alaba is a fantastic CB. When I switched him with Alaba, I realized that I really needed Delaney's high defensive workrates in midfield. Baller, both at CDM and CB but I personally think he is better at CDM unless you find a CB that can play that CDM role better (Alaba aint that guy imo)

Played him for 3 games and here's my impressions: - Doesn't attack much, even on balanced instructions on my 4-4-2 playing as a number 8 next to Savic - Feels surprisingly fast running in a straight line (including with the ball) and I was using a basic - physicality is quite noticeable in game, wins headers in midfield with ease - Unsurprisingly, great passing - Not a great dribbler even on a basic, but he isn't clunky for a midfielder Overall cool midfielder, but his AI plays like a CDM to keep that in mind

The power curve is a term that represents the meta of a game. As the year goes on, cards get better, the meta of the game evolves and so to compete, you need increasingly better cards. What I mean by saying Taremi is behind the power curve is that this card, as good as it is, its still not good enough for the meta, at this point if the year. But in previous years if you released a card like this around December, he would be a beast card because the power curve wasn't as strong as it is this year.
