Ea have ruined their own game yet again but this time worse then ever, the market is ridiculous and already dying you can't have a expensive player because of the fear of them losing high percentages of their value in mere days, ea have released a boring game based on defense where everyone uses the same 71 depth tactic and cuts back it is boring and repetitive and very pay to win as the top players like mbappe, r9 are so much better at finishing the few chances you can make at the top level compared to everyone else who is mostly inconsistent. I would not be suprised to see this game dead before TOTY or even Christmas. The situation the game, the market and the franchise itself finds itself in all ties back to one culprit ea sports and their incompetency and their staff who must just not gives toss.

I can't understand why people play this game anymore, atleast the normal people who haven't made this game their job (YT/ insta). There is no reward for playing unless you buy store packs for $50-60 every promo. WL rewards are crazy diluted, earlier red picks gave few decent players in WL rewards, now it's just 2-3 84-85 rated gold cards. They have made all TOTW cards into SBC fodder, earlier you had 2-3 meta players in every TOTW that you could actually use in the team, now there are probably 3-4 in total till Feb. Earlier, Rare Mega packs and Ultimate packs had good weightage, now you get 83-84s from Ultimate pack. EA has screwed the players soo much that you only have to rely on real money to buy extravagant store packs that are the only generously weighted packs in game now. Imagine asking players to pay $50 each week for a game they used to pay $90 for an entire year.

Idk it anyone will care but over the last few months I've really reduced how much fifa I've been playing and it has improved my life so much. FIFA is the only game I ever have gotten properly angry at and was absolutely terrible for my mental health, having to grind night after night to try and compete in champs. I haven't completely stopped playing and I'm not asking you to. But if you are playing a game and aren't enjoying it, why bother? I only play about 3 hours per week now and it has freed up my time massively. I've been able to spend more time with my family and play other far better games such as Elden Ring and MK8DX. I've also discovered my passion for game development and have had a great time learning how to build games. FIFA is unhealthy like anything if you do it too much.
