without knowing where they are now, I would say Rooney and Bergwijn at ST, Odegaard and Mahrez at CAM, KDB as the box to box CDM

I’ve been using this formation recently as an in-game switch and it’s very solid. My tactics and instructions are almost the same as his. I have 5 depth on defense. I also use Fast Buildup attacking style. I do have one of my strikers that’s very good at passing (FS Szoboszlai switch to ST in game, he basically has insane CAM stats) set to balanced defense, but also get in behind so that once I win the ball he gets upfield quickly. Almost switches to a 4-2-3-1 on defense then back to 4-2-2-2 with this. All other instructions and player type recommendations are the same. Cheers and good luck with this wicked formation! :D
