But in a mode mixed with men's teams the ratings should be relative to the entire player base then, not just the women. Essentially every woman's base card in the game is an insanely boosted promo card just in order to make them playable in competitive modes. Otherwise no one would use them. They've been entirely forced on the whole player base. If the demand for a women's UT was so strong then make it a stand alone mode and see how many users you get. This present set up greatly detracts from what many people want and enjoyed.

It's not sexist to prefer men's football to women's, or to want to play with those players instead of a co-ed team. If a person doesn't understand that, then he needs to think more carefully about the meaning of the words he throws around and be more cautious about ascribing motivations to people he hasn't talked with

Sure, but the way their base cards are rated (unrealistically relative to male players) tilts the competitive balance of the game. Many of my opponents will use them and they will be taking up space in packs I open which could have other players I want to play with in them instead.

Some are, no doubt, but many of us don't want to play a football simulator with women's players. How many people played the mode with women's teams last year? How many tune in regularly to follow professional women's teams or players? Now we don't have a choice of whether we want to have the women's game mixed with men's if we want to play this EA game, which is really the only good one available for a football simulator, despite all of its problems. This choice of integration has been forced on everyone.
