He's one of my club legends, packed him about a month or so and have used him pretty much in any possible way in the attack, and for me he works better as a CAM with Basic chem (yes).
He's class, I'm rocking a 4312 formation with him as the CM in the center and he dominates the midfield, reminds me a lot of TOTS Witsel from FIFA 19, and his long shots are OP.
After I saw your record on twitter I knew this review was coming this week. I was lucky to pack him in the base/mid pack in swaps and he's truly phenomenal.
His pace is fine without any boost, I have his IF in red and he was in my team for quite some time so I got used with the way he plays, and for me, finisher is by far the best chem for him.
I'm regretting for not doing Ansaldi, Serie A is already full of good cards that costs way less than the meta cards from other leagues. Also, about the clunkyness and height relation that you've mentioned, I think the body type is also very influential, players like Mahrez, Bruno Fernandes and Cuadrado are all above 1,75cm, and none of them are clunky ingame due to their lean body types.
I understand the obvious choice to go for defending to be the main statistic, but is the passing that I love the most in this card, he managed to get ridiculous 12 assists for me this weekend, just 6 assists less than my CAM.
Truth is that we don't have a lot of options in the ST position that truly fits the meta and costs less than 250k (yet). That's the only reason Jesus is still around 70k. Even though he has been great for me in most games, his also already a liability with his 3* WF against div 1 teams.
yeah I love him, feels like he's everywhere and never gets tired.
Your review remind me of Pogba in my team this weekend, I was hoping to have some fun with the 5* skills, but even though he's pretty good, Gini and Modric are miles better than him in game. Unfortunately, at this stage, players in the midfield with 90+ agility and 95+ stamina makes a lot of difference, specially in the WL where it seems every team is stacked right now.
No worries man, most players use 442 and 4231 anyway so it's kinda tricky to review players that might be better on different formations, but your reviews are always quality, keep it up.
I don't think he's a true box-to-box, but rather a playmaker that can defend pretty well, so he's more suited to formations with 3 midfielders (in my case, it's him Goretzka Moments and Kimmich Moments). Without the need to push him forward his dribbling is fine, and with him staying in the back he rarely have to track down opponents. 9/10 it's not exactly unfair but for me he's way better than Thiago, for example.
