FC 24 91 Flashback Kante Player Review - Cop or Flop?

Ladies and Gentlemen… it’s full Team of the Year Day!, that’s right the full squad is now in packs but our focus is on the new Kante SBC, he’s been given a flashback celebrating his inclusion in the FUT 22 TOTY.

Flashback Kante is now in the game and went straight into the CDM role in the below team, he’s had a switch of his playstyle+, now having relentless replacing the previous Intercept+.

I went for the anchor chem style to give N’Golo that strength boost, It served him well but catalyst isn’t a bad option either given his passing is pretty average for this stage of the game, something we’ll discuss more later on...

The SBC is costing around 600,000 coins, he ain't cheap, we have a full month to complete the SBC, there is no getting around it, it’s an expensive SBC.

How did he perform in game?

+ Pace, Just like pretty much every Kante item ever he's quick in game, and just really easy to maneuver when trying to defend, the acceleration was incredible.
+ Interceptions, again like Kante items of the past his interception ability is brilliant. Right place, right time kind of player.
+ This item felt great in possession, his dribbling attributes may not be anything special but his small size just allowed him to move so easily, he felt really agility with the ball.
/ Can’t say I expected to be saying this but the shooting from outside the box was surprisingly effective, not amazing but good enough to comment on given the goals he scored… (see video).
- Passing, it's not awful by any means but given the stage of the game it's not great and can be a limiting factor, he'll do brilliantly to win the ball off opposition players and then give it a way with a poor pass, always try and go off his stronger right foot as his 3* left foot is awful for distribution. 

C’mon EA, you could of upgraded his weak foot…

N’Golo Kante – Cop or Flop

It was a nice card to use, there is no doubt about that but I really can’t get behind the 600,000 price tag even when considering the ability to grind/craft packs right now, This kind of feels like a copy of the Davies SBC were the card is solid and extremely useable but the value for money just isn’t there. 

The community seem torn on the SBC too, at the time of writing this the SBC has received the same amount of upvotes as downvotes which again is fully understandable as it’s a good looking card but the price is offputting. 

It’s still an effective CDM option, but I'd recommend passing on this one, or at least don’t rush into completing it.
