FC 24 Euro 2024 Quarter Final Upgrades

We’re into the Semi Final stage of Euro 2024 and we say goodbye to another 4 teams, but don’t worry, they didn’t leave empty handed… Plenty of upgrades heading into the final 4, although one card was upgraded but without a stat boost!

Spain

Pedri (+1 OVR)
Dani Olmo (+1 OVR)
Ferran Torres (+1 OVR)
Jesus Navas (+1 OVR)
Robin Le Normand (+1 OVR)

Spain left it late against Germany but managed to beat the hosts of a major tournament in the knockout rounds for the first time ever. Ferran and Navas were released at half time during the match and unlocked their first upgrade just over an hour later. Le Normand also made his 5th appearance to unlock his full upgrade but will unfortunately miss the semi final after picking up a yellow card.

France

Griezmann (+1 OVR and Tiki Taka+)
Barcola (+1 OVR and Trickster+)
Clauss (+1 OVR and Incisive Pass+)
Fofana (+1 OVR and Slide Tackle+)

France may have made the Semi Finals but they’re still yet to score a goal from open play. From the 3 goals they’ve scored so far, 2 have been own goals and one from the penalty spot. Doesn’t matter how you score, as long as you win! It should have been +1s and a PS+ all around but Camavinga was already released with 4 PlayStyle+’s meaning he was actually upgraded by 2!

England

This should have been the round where England players earned their 4th PlayStyle+, but they were actually upgraded after the Slovakia game, meaning only +1’s were handed out aside from Ollie Watkins. England once again took their game into Extra Time, and came out victorious on penalties but can they do it against The Netherlands and reach the final?

Our second 99 rated card was added to the game after Virgil van Dijk made his 5th appearance unlocking a +1. If it wasn’t already over, it is now. +1’s all around for these cards with PlayStyle+’s being added to the Path to Glory items too. GG’s to those who completed Xavi Simons, with the full upgrade he looks incredible!

Eliminated

Wirtz (+2 OVR)
Güler (+1 OVR)

Despite Germany exiting the competition, Florian Wirtz secured an upgrade with just minutes left in their match against Spain. His equaliser was his 2nd goal of the tournament, which also came in his 5th appearance. Our first 99 rated card of FC 24. Arder Güler only needed an appearance for his upgrade which takes him to a 97 rated CAM!

Yep, the best cards in the game get even better! Netherlands 2 goal win over Turkey secured the upgrade for their Icons. Despite there being plenty of Spanish Greats of the Game cards, Casillas was the only one to be upgraded as the others secured theirs in the Round of 16 against Georgia!
