FC 25 First News: Cover, New Icons, Pack Animation...

The first FC 25 news is here!! We may only be on day one of news, but there’s so much we already know including returning features and new icons…

FC 25 Cover

The Ultimate Edition cover for FC 25 has been revealed today and features 5 of the worlds very best. The 5 cover stars for FC 25 are: 

• Gianluigi Buffon (Italy)
• Aitana Bonmati (Spain and Barcelona)
• Jude Bellingham (England and Real Madrid)
• Zinedine Zidane (France)
• David Beckham (England) 

Confirmed Icons

Gianlugi Buffon will be returning to Ultimate Team as an Icon (surely?). The Italian goalkeeper is one of 5 players to feature on the new FC 25 cover and is the only one of the five not to feature in Ultimate Team. We can only presume that as one of the greatest goalkeepers in football history, that he will be coming as an Icon and not a Hero. 

Pack Animation

The FC 25 Pack Animation hasn’t been confirmed but it has been teased… The fan favourite tunnel animation from FIFA 21 looks to be making a return. This screenshot (left) was taken from the La Liga Reveal Video and looks very, very similar to the old pack animation.
