Our first official FC 25 cards are here! And we now know 13 new Heroes coming next year, and one confirmed to be returning. We’ve been given one of the Premier Leagues most iconic players, the greatest mohawk to ever grace the game, 3 Merseyside legends and so many more! Each Hero will be given an Origin Card to kick off FC 25 and an upgraded Prime Version coming in November.
You can find all of the brand new FC 25 Hero cards on FUTBIN now! Check them out here!
Yaya Toure - 85 and 89 Rated
Before we get into the new heroes, there is one who will be returning in this format, Yaya Toure. The Ivorian would strike fear into his opponents before even stepping onto the pitch and were hoping he brings that same aura to FC 25. Yaya has been an incredible addition to Ultimate Team and even with his Origin card as low as 85, we still expect this card to be one of the best in FC 25.
Marek Hamsik - 85 and 89 Rated
The Mohawk is back. Marek Hamsik has one of the most recognisable haircuts in the world of football and is back on our screens for FC 25. He joined Napoli in 2007 and left 12 years later with 400+ appearances to his name, and at the time the club's record goal scorer. Let’s hope we can pair him up with a Dries Mertens hero once he retires…
Eden Hazard - 86 and 90 Rated
Eden Hazard is one of the greatest players that the Premier League has ever seen, but has that been a factor in him only receiving a Hero card? Many would have said he deserved Icon status, but as long as he performs well in game, we don’t care. If this card doesn’t have 90+ Dribbling and Technical+ then we’ve failed him.
Tim Howard - 85 and 89 Rated
It’s about time we saw Tim Howard return to Ultimate Team, he’s the definition of Prime Barclays. Howard, Baines, Fellaini, Pienaar, (and a young John Stones), the list goes on, that Everton team was incredible to watch. He’s also one of the few goalkeepers to score a goal in the Premier League, lifting the ball past Adam Bogdan 101 yards out, from his own box.
Maicon - 86 and 90 Rated
Maicon has a claim for one of the greatest World Cup goals of all time, bending the ball past the North Korean goalkeeper from the tightest of angles with an immense amount of power. He’d spend the majority of his career in Italy with Roma and Inter Milan where he won the Treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010. Maicon did branch further out into Europe with an extremely brief move to Manchester City which ultimately ended after 9 appearances.
Celia Sasic - 88 and 91 Rated
Sasic is the highest rated of the new Prime Heroes, and for good reason. It was her goals that would take Germany to back to back European Championship wins and bring home a UEFA Champions League trophy for Frankfurt.
Jaap Stam - 85 and 89 Rated
The Dutch Destroyer finally makes his Ultimate Team debut and links up with plenty of his former teammates. He may have only spent three years in Manchester but it was enough to cement his place in history as part of the heroic treble winning team in 1999.
Ze Roberto - 86 and 89 Rated
Another Bayer Leverkusen hero joins the lineup in FC 25 and this time it’s Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto. Bayern Munich may have been where he won the trophies, but it was Leverkusen where he made his name. He finished runners up to Bayern Munich 3 seasons in a row, before joining them in 2002.
Jamie Carragher - 86 and 88 Rated
Jamie Carragher is yet another former Legend that we’re seeing return as a Hero in FC, after Futre and Costa in 24. Honestly, his legend card wasn’t great, so let’s hope he follows a similar path to the two previously mentioned and come back to FC with a very usable card. Over 700 appearances for Liverpool without moving elsewhere, the definition of a Hero.
Laura Georges - 85 and 89 Rated
Laura Georges spent 6 seasons with Olympique Lyonnais and won the league title on every single occasion. It was at Lyon where she would also captain the side to back to back UCL titles towards the end of her time there. She would finish off her career back with PSG, but unfortunately could not snatch the D1 title from her former team mates.
Guti - 86 and 88 Rated
Guti lived every Real Madrid fans dream, growing up playing for your boyhood club and racking up over 500 appearances for them. The Spaniard would spend nearly his entire career at Los Blancos where he would cement hero status at the club, with 5 La Liga and 3 Champions League trophies to his name.
Blaise Matuidi - 85 and 88 Rated
“ Qui contrôle le terrain? (Matuidi), Blaise Matuidi, eh (Matuidi), Avec lui on est serein (Matuidi), Blaise Matuidi, eh (Matuidi)”
Matuidi’s biggest honour as a player is being featured in the greatest World Cup song of all time - Ramenez La Coupe A La Maison. The Frenchman was part of the 2018 World Cup winning side and also ran the midfield of the PSG Dynasty in France during the early 2010s. He’s always been incredible in Ultimate Team and we can’t wait for him to return.
Mohammed Noor - 85 and 88 Rated
Another Saudi Arabian addition to the Hero lineup to join Al-Jaber and Al-Owairan. Noor spent the majority of his career with Al Ittihad aside from a one year spell with Al Nassr and would help the club win 7 Saudi Pro League titles and 2 AFC Champions Leagues!
Fara Williams MBE - 86 and 88 Rated
Fara Willams is one of the most recognizable names in the Women's Super League and her retirement hasn’t stopped her from getting as many eyes on the game as possible. She is one of England's most beloved players and her achievements in the women's game have not gone unnoticed, with her receiving an MBE from the Queen.
Which of the new hero cards are you looking forward to using the most?
