It’s time for week number two of the Total Rush promo in FC25. Honestly, I do not know how this team can follow up from last week's team but looking at it we have a strong follow-up. The likes of Messi and Neymar leading the team with some real exciting players such as Salah, Putellas, Lewandowski and a few other gems. All in all a nice promo team!
Onto the SBC section for today and again it’s going to be tough to follow last weeks Morgan SBC but we have been treated to Brighton’s Georginio Rutter as a Total Rush card. This item has received a +13 overall boost which is insane. The card is originally already a 5*/5* item too so this one is looking good. But sadly no playstyle+s which is becoming quite the theme for a lot of SBCs lately.
Rutter can either play in his default position of CAM or you can push him upfront in the Striker role. Looking at the shooting and lack of Finesse/Trivela, I opted to stick with the default position as I feared that scoring goals with this card might not be as easy as you would like. But a speedy midfielder with great dribbling is something we love to see.
For Chemstyle here I would say Finisher or Hunter, I opted for the Finisher as I didn’t feel pace needed the boost here and wanted to push up the shooting and dribbling. But if you are going to play him Striker then maybe go with a hunter.

This SBC comes in with 4 segments which initially had me concerned and I feel that I may be right to be. This SBC comes in at shy of 175k coins with some average packs being returned. Despite this card looking nice I feel that the price has been pushed due to him being a French player in the Premier League. Because I feel that if this card is on the market it will be a fraction of the price. But the important thing here is whether or not he performs well in-game and justifies the price.
How did he perform in-game?
+ Pace is the obvious positive about this card because he is incredibly quick for a centre-attacking midfielder.
+ Strength was also relatively good on this card. He did a good job at fighting off defenders and pushing through the backline to get to the goal
+ Dribbling was quite smooth as well. He controlled the ball incredibly and for the skillers out there, he can perform these moves fluently and maneuver around players with ease.
/ His positioning was a little off for me as I found he would sit quite deep into the midfield and was often absent when building up an attack.
/ Passing on this item was okay but not what you would want for a CAM. Short passing was the best of it but outside of that, he didn’t make much work.
- Shooting was the biggest downside to this card, I would avoid using him in his Striker position because his finishing was mediocre and with the lack of meta shooting playstyles, he just isn’t going to score many goals for you.
Rutter - Cop or Flop?
Despite this card having a massive upgrade, not seeing a Playstyle+ on this card is really hurting it for me. In-game he just didn’t feel like a near 200k card and sadly I feel people will be completing this card on the merit of him having high pace and dribbling. The reality is he just doesn’t feel amazing in-game and for me, not worth the pickup.
There are so many SBCs out to choose from right now, with fodder being a little difficult to keep up with to allow us to complete most of these SBCs I would advise spending your coins/fodder wisely. Hold off from this SBC because I feel it’ll fall off from your squads quite quickly.
Verdict = FLOP
