DanWe’re coming to the back end of Fantasy FC Fixtures, with plenty finalising their matches so not too many upgrades this week, but they’re definitely important. We may only be in April but League Winner Upgrades have already been achieved…
League Winners
Blaise Matuidi - 1 OVR and PlayStyle+
We didn’t expect to have League winner upgrades after the first week of April but here we are. PSG wrapped up yet another Ligue 1 title and are still on course to end the season unbeaten. Another Overall Upgrade and PlayStyle+ on the way for Matuidi.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 1 OVR and PlayStyle+
The same goes for Kvara, another +1 and new PlayStyle+ on the way which will make him the first active player outside of Team of The Year to have 3 PlayStyle+’s.
Upgrades
Jamie Carragher - 1 OVR and Fullback++
Liverpool’s Merseyside Derby win over Everton took Carra to 2 wins for his first upgrade. Despite losing to Fulham this weekend, Liverpool did gain 2 goals towards the 10 mark, and 4 against West Ham will secure another upgrade.
Darwin Nunez - 1 OVR and False Nine++
It was the same Everton game which took Nunez to another upgrade and let’s be real, there’s no doubt the Premier League trophy is heading to Anfield which will secure the 3rd PS+ and another OVR upgrade for Darwizzy.
Marcus Rashford - 1 OVR, Poacher++, Rapid and First Touch
It’s almost as if Marcus Rashford wasn’t the problem at Manchester United and is actually a world class footballer. A goal against Brighton locked in some tidy upgrades and if he can avoid a booking against Southampton we’re in for another +1 and 5*5*.
Donyell Malen - 1 OVR, 5* Skill Moves, Tiki Taka and Low Driven Shot
What is Unai Emery cooking at Aston Villa? Three of his January signings were all on the score sheet against Brighton and that included Donny Malen getting in on the action in the 10th minute of injury time. Secured Tiki Taka and Low Driven in the final seconds of his final Fantasy fixture!
Mathys Tel - 1 OVR, 5* Weak Foot, Technical and Quick Step
Just like Malen, it took until the final moments of Tel’s final game to lock in those PlayStyle Upgrades. Unfortunately we didn’t see too many upgrades with the only win being against Southampton, but he did avoid a booking for the +1!
Nayef Aguerd - 2 Overall, 5* Weak Foot
Real Sociedad went 2/2 in their last 2 games to secure the upgrade for Aguerd. No Clean Sheet but he did avoid a booking.
Conor Gallagher- 1 OVR, 5* Skill Moves, Long Ball Pass and Anticipate
The other side to the Aguerd SBC Pick was Conor Gallagher, Atleti only won one match of the 4 but he avoided a card and secured the upgrade.
Arthur Theate - 1 OVR and 5* Weak Foot
Theate avoided a booking in his 4 matches and locks in another upgrade for those who completed his SBC.
Jean-Phillipe Mateta - 1 OVR, False Nine++, Power Header+ and Low Driven Shot
Boom, boom, boom, boom Mateta’s in the room. The Frenchman scored his first goal after missing a month through injury for his first upgrades.
