FC 26 Frauen-Bundesliga Team of The Season Predictions!

Now that we know how EA are likely going to format both the male and female sides this season, we have a structure to follow, and the remaining predictions will be in this format. The Frauen Bundesliga has seen Munich dominate the division with a current 20W, 1D, 0L record. As you would expect from such numbers, this side is dominated by them, with some other familiar names also included. 

Laura Dick - GK - 75 > 91 OVR

While it would be easy to include Mahmutovic in this position, much like last season, in terms of goalkeeping performance there have been better options despite that ludicrous defensive record. Laura Dick looks a very strong option, making a league-high eighty-seven saves while also maintaining the second-most clean sheets and second-fewest goals conceded in the division.

Janou Levels - LB - 76 > 93 OVR

Munich literally walked the league this season, but Wolfsburg were the next best side, and as a result I would expect a few inclusions for them. Levels is seemingly one of the stronger candidates, with consistent attacking returns from LB throughout the campaign. In total, she has recorded two goals and seven assists, with the latter placing her fourth for most assists. A regular among the TOTW shortlists.

Stine Ballisager - CB - 71 > 91 OVR

With Munich conceding just six goals from twenty-one matches this season, they simply have to have defenders included. There was a lot of rotation within the backline, but one of the more consistent faces was Ballisager, playing fifteen matches for them. She has a joint-highest pass completion percentage with 93% and, among Munich defenders, is one of the highest contributors in almost every defensive stat. 

Carolin Simon - LB - 82 > 94 OVR

Onto another Munich option now with Simon. The German defender featured in last year’s edition of this side and she looks set to back that up with another inclusion here. As mentioned, Munich have a phenomenal defensive record this year, and Simon offers attacking returns to go alongside that, with six assists from the thirteen appearances she has made.
