TOTW 30 PREDICTIONS

TOTW30 looks to have the potential to be a very good TOTW, going on a number of individual performances, with a number of hat-tricks in the mix again, it will be interesting to see who misses out this week. Especially as a number of cards look set so soon for more IFs.
The big question is who makes the cut from Bayern vs Dortmund and remember folks no-one from the FA Cup can feature in the TOTW or the Champions League when returns this week, they would be given a MOTM Card if anything. 

TOTW29 Predictions 10/23 

GOALKEEPER

Jan Oblak  - GK - OVR 90 The Atletico Madrid GK has been a key part in keeping teams out with his performances and showing why he is one of the best GKs in the world, in the past week he proved just that with a quality performance in their mid-week victory against Girona with 4 saves a clean sheet and 3 on Marca, but followed up with another 8 saves and another 3 on Marca in their 2-0 loss to Barcelona, we are focused on the Girona game but to get 3 from Marca is the main focus point.

DEFENDERS

Mats Hummels - CB - OVR 89 Bayern ran riot against Dortmund, anyone of about 5 players could genuinely get in the TOTW, so don't be surprised to see other predictors go elsewhere and that's even with whatever Kicker gives for POTW & so forth. With defenders a struggle this week we've opted for Hummels for his goal & clean sheet, but don't be surprised if Muller, Lewandowski, Gnabry or Kimmich for example got in as the entire team were on point.

Dante - CB - OVR 80 Nice are pushing for that European spot and Dante played a key part in this with the only goal in the 1-0 win for them and with a clean sheet too is a big bonus, should have a strong shout of featuring this week. 

Phil Jagielka - CB - OVR 78 Everton and Arsenal were 1 of the rare EPL games on this weekend with FA Cup action and Everton bagged a 1-0 win over Arsenal courtesy of Jagielka's goal, with the clean sheet too denting Arsenal's top 4 hopes and this helping Everton's chances of 7th, has a good chance of happening.

MIDFIELDERS

Nani - CAM - OVR 80 So soon after a flashback card last week, which could go against but a SIF looks set for Nani after his 2 goal haul & also played a part in the 3rd goal too plus a position change too.

Pablo Sarabia- CM - OVR 83 Another headliner looks set for an upgrade this time in Sarabia who got 1 goal, 1 assist and a 3 on Marca, making this card more appealing and the inevitable TOTS too.

Dani Parejo - CM - OVR 86 Now 1 assist may seem like nothing in a victory over Real Madrid but Parejo has played a part in some key moments this season and as a result a TIF looks set for him, what goes his way like Oblak & Sarabia before him was a 3 on Marca.

Anderson Talisca - RM - OVR 83 Another player who recently got a special card in a promo in this carniball, looks set for a SIF & position change to RM, he got 2 goals which may do just enough for him especially as CSL been avoided of late for IFs.

FORWARDS

Karim Benzema - ST - OVR 85 Benzema has shown ample form of late and another 2 goals for him helps his cause for a TOTS card but in meantime, a SIF looks set & while only got a 2 on Marca they can only avoid giving him 1 for long enough.  

Josip Ilicic - ST - OVR 79 Atalanta are special cards heavy up top & Ilicic is following the trend set by Zapata/Gomez with another IF after he got 2 goals and an 8.5 on Gazzetta in their 4-1 win.

Andrea Belotti - ST - OVR 82 A TIF for the Torino forward looks inbound for his 2 goals & 8 on Gazzetta, while he recently had one a few weeks back, 8s & 8.5s were rare this week and Belotti deserves his spot this week. 

SUBSTITUTES

Benoit Costil - GK - OVR 78 Another player who so soon after his SIF looks set for a TIF, he made 5 saves and kept a clean sheet in a big game for Bordeaux.  

Roberto Gagliardini  - CDM - OVR 78 Inter were impressive in their midweek game and Gagliardini made the difference with 2 goals & a 7.5 on Gazzetta which should do enough to see him in the TOTW.

Yuri - LB - OVR 78 Bilbao are going on a run which may see them into Europe, they won 3-2 v Levante and with Yuri playing a big part of this getting 1 goal and  1 assist while only got a 2 on Marca may do enough to see him in.

Ishak Belfodil - ST - OVR 76 Another of the form forwards of late running riot and looks set for his 1st IF after missing out last week, with getting a hat-trick this week.

Ashley Westwood - CM - OVR 75 Burnley showing some of late to get out the relegation battle & Westwood played his part in their victory over Bournemouth with a goal and an assist.

Mbaye Diagne - ST- OVR 75 Diagne has run riot in Turkey this season and looks set for his 1st IF after his hat-trick sealed a vital win.

Julian Quinones - RM- OVR 75 Quinones ran the show for Tigres bagging 2 goals and a spot in the TOTW.

RESERVES

Scott Arfield - LM - OVR 73 After what looked set for Horgan to be the SPFL player for the TOTW Arfield ran riot against Motherwell to seal the deal with a hat-trick.

Faras Al Muwallad - RM- OVR 72 Al Muwallad joins the latest Saudi IF league after his 1 goal and 3 assists for the TOTW spot.

Nuno Da Costa - RW - OVR 71 This is tricky as Strasbourg ran riot in their 4-0 win but held PSG to a 2-2 draw on Sunday night, Goncalves the alternative but 1 will get in we think Da Costa will for 2 goals.

Jean-Philippe Mateta- ST - OVR 71 Mainz ran the show and Mateta was key to this with a hat-trick giving him his spot in the TOTW.  Boetius, however, is the alternative with 1 goal and 2 assists.

Alexander Isak - ST - OVR 69 Last week was unlucky to not be in the TOTW but set this week with 2 goals and 2 assists plus an 8.5 POTW rating from the midweek games should help him join the TOTW.
