FIFA 23 FUT Web App & Companion App Release Date

FIFA 23 is right around the corner and FIFA fans across the world are excited to get their hands on it, with many players year after year looking to get the best start to the game as early as possible which can be kick-started by taking advantage of the Web App and Companion app. 

The FIFA 23 Web App will be where you can kick-start your FIFA 23 Ultimate Team journey, allowing you to manage your FUT 23 squad, buy & sell players on the transfer market, open packs, complete Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and start working on non-gameplay related objectives.

The Web App as it suggests is an EA-powered FIFA Ultimate team website that allows you to access your FUT 23 squad, the transfer market and packs to enable you to play the game without being on a console. 

The FUT 23 Companion App is very similar; however, this app will be for mobile or tablet devices allowing you to manage your FUT club in the same way as the Web App, while on the move. 

When does the FIFA 23 FUT Web App come out?

We expect the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team Web App to be released from Wednesday 21 September, however, this has not yet been confirmed by EA, it is also possible that the Web App release may coincide with the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition release on Tuesday 27 September.

Upon logging in to FUT 23 for the first time via the Web App, you will be able to:

• Open starter & Welcome back packs

• Build your first FUT 23 squad

• Buy and sell players on the transfer market

• Complete Squad Building Challenges

• Complete non-gameplay related objectives

It’s worth mentioning, that you will not be able to play the full game on the FUT 23 web app, you will need to purchase a copy of FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 Web App Access & Link

In order to access the FIFA Ultimate Team 23 Web App, you will have to do the following:

Sign-in using your EA Account that you’ve linked to your PSN / Xbox / Switch / Stadia ID

If you have two-factor authentication active, you may be required to enter a code to gain access to the FIFA 23 Web App.

Due to the high volume of traffic when logging into the Web App on release day, our best advice is to have all passwords & two-factor authentication on hand, as sometimes password resets can take longer than usual because of the increased traffic.

It’s also worth mentioning, do not share these details with anyone, and be sure to only use these details on the official EA Web App or Origin website.

Can you buy FIFA Points on the Web App?

Yes, you can buy FIFA Points through the Web App.

To do this you will need to authenticate your Web App with the Xbox / PS credentials associated with your FUT Club. This way you can purchase FIFA points which will be loaded into your account to start opening packs.

When does the FUT 23 Companion App come out?

We are expecting the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team Companion App to be released on Thursday 22nd September at 6pm UK time, roughly 24 hours after the release of the FUT 23 Web App.

You’ll be able to manage all aspects of your FUT 23 club as the Web App while on the move through your mobile or tablet devices.

How to get the FUT 23 Companion App

To download the FIFA companion app, head over to your app store on an Apple or Android device, and search for ‘EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Companion’

How to connect & login to the FIFA 23 Companion App

Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll be able to log in to the FUT 23 Companion App in the same way as the Web App, using the same EA Account information.

Do not share these details with anyone, and only use these details on the official EA or Origin website.

Can you buy FIFA Points on the Companion App?

Yes, you can buy FIFA Points on the Companion App.

You can buy FIFA points directly on the companion app on Android. 

However, you cannot buy FIFA points on an Apple device, you will have to have FIFA points pre-loaded via the Web App or on a console to use them on an Apple device. 

What is the difference between Web App & Companion App?

Very simply, the FIFA 23 Web App is a website available on a desktop device that will allow you to access FUT 23, manage your squads, make transfers via the transfer market, complete Squad Building Challenges, open packs and manage your club.

The Companion App shares the exact same features as the FUT 23 Web App, however, is available on mobile and tablet devices that allows you to manage your FUT 23 club while on the move.
