The first thing I actually want to say is (...and maybe there is some bias here as an Arsenal fan) I find it abit of a shame he didn’t get a bigger passing upgrade, yeah I know his passing attributes are still great but c’mon we’re talking about Mesut Ozil here, his passing ability was unreal...anyway let’s get into the player review.

Starting XI

As you can see Ozil was thrown into his default CAM role in the above team, He can also start as a RM but for obvious reasons, we kept him at CAM.

In-Game Notes

+ The passing was incredible, he was an assist machine, you'll be able to see in the footage above, some really nice well weighted passes, whether it was over a long or short distance this man provides!
+ Ozil's dribbling was elegant, he had such good close control for us, it made him easy to dribble with.
+ The H/L work rates worked out really nicely, he pushed up a lot naturally which was great for attacking football, supported the strikers well when they broke away too.

+ The traits, there are some 'traits' in this years FUT which are incredibly useful, and Ozil has SO MANY.
 

- Honestly, there isn't too much that 'stands out' about this item that is all that bad, but his Stamina didn't seem to hold up all that well, in the end game.

The Price

This 93 rated Mesut Ozil is priced at around 160,000 coins which in the grand scheme of things isn’t a bad price at all, as it's a really good attacking midfielder option. Ultimately I’d say it’s an SBC only worth doing if you know you are going to get game time with him, or are just a fan of Ozil in general. As with Team of the Season just around the corner, we’re going to get alot of midfielders looking like this, for similar / cheaper prices...which will also be tradable.

In Summary…

It’s a great CAM option, for those of you who are good with left stick dribbling you’ll really appreciate the ball control of this item, the ball just seems to stick to his feet at times, If your team needs a high-level distributor, this item is worth considering, that is if...you can get him into your team without taking a chemistry hit!
