New Players Coming To Ultimate Team In EA Sports FC 24

As each season passes we discover more and more wonderkids that burst onto the scene but sometimes too late to be added into the current game. We’ve picked out 10 of our favourite stars didn't have an Ultimate Team card in FIFA 23 but will do in FC 24. There are 9 players who have never made an Ultimate Team appearance and one returning favourite that we can’t wait to use again.

Gift Orban - KAA Gent - 78 OVR

Gift Orban could well be on his way out of Gent this summer after already proving he’s got what it takes to be the next big thing.

The Nigerian striker has only been at Gent since January and has already scored 45 goals for the Belgian side.

Orban may only be 21 but he’s already breaking European goalscoring records, he scored the fastest hat-trick in UEFA club competition history, scoring 3 in just 205 seconds!

Rico Lewis - Manchester City - 76 OVR

We chatted with Rico earlier this season about his Ultimate Team and the one thing missing from was his own card, well in FC 24 he won’t have to worry.

The Manchester City academy graduate burst onto the scene in pre-season last year and has become a mainstay in Pep Guardiola’s squad.

He may only be 18 but already has 4 senior trophies under his belt in less than 12 months.

Lamine Yamal - Barcelona - 75 OVR

Lamine Yamal is only 16 but already has 3 La Liga appearances to his name including 1 start.

The Spanish winger made his debut for Barcelona at just 15, an age when most of us were still getting to grips with Ultimate Team!

We saw Youssoufa Moukoko added to FIFA when he was just 16, so we can expect the same with Yamal.

Alejandro Garnacho - Manchester United - 75 OVR

Garnacho has been a regular for Manchester United in the past year, making 37 appearances across all competitions.

The Argentine has started both games this season already and looks to be making that left wing spot his own.

He’ll be a tidy addition to starter teams and with a Manchester United badge, expect to see a few special cards next year.

Arda Guler - Real Madrid - 75 OVR

The Turkish Messi signed for Real Madrid for €20m this summer but picked up an injury and isn’t expected to feature for Los Blancos until November.

He made 35 appearances for Fenerbahce last season and chipped in with 13 goal contributions.

Let’s just hope he recovers well and we can see him star in a Real Madrid shirt in the near future.

Douglas Costa - LA Galaxy - 74 OVR

He’s back. After a brief spell back in Brazil with Gremio, Douglas Costa returns to the game after moving to MLS with LA Galaxy.

He has actually been with the Galaxy since 2022 but for some reason wasn’t added for FIFA 23.

Hopefully we see him in FC 24, even if he’s a silver we’ll be expecting at least a flashback throughout the year.

Carlos Borges - Ajax - 74 OVR

Despite never playing a first team game for Manchester City Borges was sold to Ajax for €14m this summer.

He’s been unlucky not to break into the first team as he ended the season with 47 goal contributions. Just a shame there’s a certain Norwegian that he’d have to displace.

Samuel Iling-Junior - Juventus - 74 OVR

Samuel Iling-Junior already has 13 Serie A appearances to his name and after making his way into the first team, we expect him to appear in FC 24.

The former Chelsea man has already made Europa and Champions League appearances for Juve and we can only expect more to come in 23/24.

An Englishman abroad is always nice to have for building teams. A Silver Stars Iling-Junior would go straight into my team.

Stefan Bajcetic - Liverpool - 74 OVR

After finding his way into the Liverpool team Bajcetic unfortunately ended the season with an injury.

With the severe lack of depth in their midfield we can certainly see him making plenty more appearances this season.

We don’t think he’ll be a gold just yet but after an impressive debut campaign, a solid silver card is more than deserved.

Julian Duranville - Borussia Dortmund - 67 OVR

Our final entrant is Julian Duranville and despite only making 1 Bundesliga appearance last season, we think he’ll have a very bright future.

He joined Dortmund in January and had to wait until the final game of the season to debut after carrying an injury from Anderlecht.

He may have only featured for 28 minutes but was by far Dortmund’s best player on the day. If he stays fit you’ll definitely be hearing more on Julian Duranville.

Which players will you want to see make their first appearance in FC 24?
