EA Sports FC 24 PSG Ratings Prediction

ByFUTBIN
29-Aug-23 11:09

Despite winning a league and cup double, PSG definitely could have had a better season. The trophies are great but that wasn’t enough to keep hold of two star players. Both Lionel Messi and Neymar left the French capital this summer and we’re not sure whether that was the club's idea or a certain Kylian Mbappe. He seems to have more power than anyone at the club so we wouldn’t put it past him.

Goalkeepers and Defenders

Gianluigi Donnarumma - 88 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 88

Donnarumma is still up there with the world's best keepers but had an average year in goal for PSG.

It wasn't horrific but also wasn't overly impressive.

We think the Italian keeps his 88 rating heading into EA FC.

Marquinhos - 88 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 88

It wasn’t the most comfortable season for PSG and Marquinhos as they only won Ligue 1 by a single point, embarrassing for their standards.

He only kept 12 clean sheets in the league and PSG once again crashed out of the Champions League with the Brazilian playing in every single game.

It wasn’t the worst season for Marquinhos but also not the best so we’ve kept him at 88

Milan Skriniar - 85 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 86

Skriniar will have a PSG card next season as he’s made the switch from Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

The Slovenian only played 21 matches in Serie A this season which is why we think he’ll drop from an 86 to 85 in EA FC.

Lucas Hernandez - 84 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

We don’t have too much to say on Lucas Hernandez as most of the 22/23 season was spent injured.

Despite missing so many games, it was clear that Bayern missed him. In fact they never lost a game in which Hernandez featured last season.

Presnel Kimpembe - 83 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

Kimpembe’s season was very similar to Lucas Hernandez, he too could only manage limited minutes after multiple injuries.

It would be unfair to downgrade due to something out of his control so we’ve kept the maestro at 83.

Achraf Hakimi - 85 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Hakimi was part of the Morocco team who were ever so close to making the World Cup Final and for that alone, deserves an upgrade.

Hakimi had a good season but his +1 has definitely been earned with his World Cup performances.

Nuno Mendes - 82 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 80

Nuno unfortunately missed part of the season through injury but when he did play, he really impressed.

He popped up with either a goal or assist every three games and kept 11 clean sheets across the season.

A very deserved +2 for the Portuguese wing back.

Midfielders

Marco Verratti - 88 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 87

Marco Verratti may well go down as PSG’s greatest ever player. The Italian has been at the club since 2012 and is only 20 appearances away from being their all time appearance maker at just 30 years of age.

The Italian had an unreal season for PSG as they took home yet another Ligue 1 title and we can see him being upgraded to 88 for next season.

Fabian Ruiz - 82 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

We’ll no longer be seeing Fabian in our 83+ packs and picks (hopefully).

The Spaniard had a decent season but lacked minutes. He only completed 11 full 90’s across the season.

We’ve downgraded him by one based on his game time to an 82 in FC 24.

Carlos Soler - 83 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

We won’t be escaping all Spanish CM’s from PSG in guaranteed packs as we’re keeping Carlos Soler at an 83.

The same story applies to Carlos Soler, very limited minutes and a lack of completed 90’s.

We’ve only decided to keep him at an 83 as he contributed a little bit more heading forward.

Manuel Ugarte - 81 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 77

Ugarte earned a transfer to PSG after a brilliant season with Sporting CP.

The Uruguayan only missed one game that wasn't due to suspension. Sporting finished 4th and fell short in cup competitions but Ugarte was by far the stand out.

We think a +4 is on the way in FC 24.

Vitinha - 81 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 79

It’s wild to think that one of PSG’s brightest midfield prospects struggled to break into the Wolves team just two years ago.

Vitinha played in all but two Ligue 1 matches last season and chipped in with a few goals and assists from central and defensive midfield.

Attackers

Kylian Mbappe - 91 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 91

Kylian Mbappe will be the highest rated player in FC 24 we’re sure but he won’t be alone. We think cover star Erling Haaland will also boast a 91 rated card.

With Neymar and Messi out and Dembele in, Mbappe seems much happier with PSG now but who knows where the Frenchman is going to end up next season. We know his eyes are firmly set on that Madrid move in 12 months time…

41 goals and 10 assists for the forward last season helped guide the Parisians to another Ligue 1 title but once again struggled in the Champions League.

Ousmane Dembele - 83 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

We weren’t too sure whether or not Ousmane Dembele would still have a Barcelona card for FC 24 but he made the switch to Paris.

The Frenchman is in line to take up PSG’s right wing spot after Messi left for Miami but no one could replace the Argentine’s genius completely.

Dembele’s La Liga season was nothing too special, with just 5 goals but those 5 did contribute towards a league title win for Barcelona.

Which team should we predict next?
