EA Sports FC 24 Napoli Ratings Prediction

Napoli head into the 23/24 season as Serie A Champions. They ran away with the league last season and there was never any doubt that the trophy would be coming back to Naples. It’s no surprise there will be plenty of upgrades coming for some of Europe's biggest talents, including a predicted +10 for one player!

Goalkeeper and Defenders

Alex Meret - 83 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 78

Meret was one of the best goalkeepers in the league last season and deserves a huge upgrade.

He kept 20 clean sheets across all competitions and only conceded 34 goals in 45 matches.

We think a +5 is on the way for the Napoli shot stopper.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo - 84 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 82

Di Lorenzo wrote his name into Naples history after captaning Napoli to their first Scudetto since 1990.

The Italian contributed with 3 goals and 4 assists going forward and also kept 17 clean sheets in the league.

His and Napoli’s Champions League dreams came crashing down against Milan but we can’t help but think they won’t be too bothered after their domestic success.

Mario Rui - 81 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 78

Another non rare 78 making his way into the 80s will be Maro Rui.

The Portuguese left back chipped in with assists going forward and was very impressive at the back too.

Napoli lost 4 games last season but only one of these came when Rui was in the team.

Juan Jesus - 75 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 76

One of our only downgrades will be coming in the way of Brazilian centre half Juan Jesus.

He only featured in 15 matches for Napoli and this wasn’t through injury, he was just out of favour.

We still think he’ll have a decent card to use in those early weeks!

Midfielders

Stanislav Lobotka - 84 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 81

Our first midfielder is Stanislav Lobotka and we think he’ll receive a +3 for FC 24.

The Slovakian midfielder was an imperative part of the Napoli midfield and really held it all together.

A very deserved upgrade should be on its way after a brilliant season.

Piotr Zielinski - 84 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

Another 84 rated midfielder enters the list and it’s Piotr Zielinski.

The Polish international scored 3 and assisted 8 in the league last season so we think he deserves at least a +1

He had a very impressive season and as with most players, was key to Napoli’s success so we can’t see anything but an upgrade happening.

Franck Zambo Anguissa - 83 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 81

The former Fulham man had a great season for Napoli and as we’ve seen for nearly every player, an upgrade will be on it’s way.

Zambo pitched in with 4 goals and 8 assists from central midfield, a very solid return.

We think it will be a +2 to take him to an 83 with a very solid all round card.

Attackers

Victor Osimhen - 86 OVR - Napoli

FIFA 23 Rating - 83

We kick off the attackers with one of Europe’s most exciting strikers last season, Victor Osimhen.

A very deserved +3 for Osimhen heading into FC 24 will make him one of the most desired players in the game.

We’ve played it safe and gone for an 86 rated card but after a 31 goal season, don’t be surprised to see him in the high 80s.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 84 OVR - Napoli

FIFA 23 Rating - 74

Kvaradona has taken Serie A by storm in his first season and we think should be heavily upgraded.

It’s hard to believe that this was the Georgians' debut season in a major league as he returned 31 goal contributions from 43 matches.

Anything less than a +10 will be a disgrace in our opinion.

Matteo Politano - 81 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 81

It was an average season for Matteo Politano so we’ve decided to keep him at an 81.

4 goals and 4 assists it’s an amazing return for an attacking player but he still had a decent season nonetheless.

It may not be an upgrade but will be a fun card to use in the early stages.

Giacamo Raspadori - 79 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 79

It was Raspadori’s first season at Napoli and he unfortunately found himself stuck on the bench for the majority of the campaign.

He did score a vital winner away at Juventus to put Napoli on the brink of the title but this was just one of 2 Serie A goals scored.

A good season but not enough to warrant an upgrade.

Giovanni Simeone - 81 OVR

FIFA 23 Rating - 78

Giovanni Simeone has been scoring goals in Serie A for fun across the last few years and has done so for 5 different clubs.

Despite being limited to just 1 Serie A start, his goals didn’t stop at Napoli. The Argentine managed to score 9 from very limited minutes on the pitch.

We’ve decided a +3 is on the way which will take him from a 78 to an 81.
