FC 24 Team of The Season Chloe Kelly Player Review - Cop or Flop

Another day another SBC, today we have Manchester City's Chloe Kelly who earlier in the game was given a fantastic 'Fantasy' item which really isn't that far away from this new TOTS version... you can see a comparison of the versions by clicking here! Given this card was expected to be good with crossing I opted to put her in the RM role in the 4231 formation with Golazo Drogba upfront who is an absolute monster in game - If you haven't tried him out, I would highly recommend doing so even with all the TOTS forwards in my club I still find room in my team for him, incredible finisher.

As for the chem style I clicked Hunter initially as that's what EA decided to recommend in the game, but did also try her with the finisher chem style applied. If I'm being honest I didn't notice any difference in game.

It's an expensive SBC and given the market movement lately you can expect to be paying around 850,000+ coins for this SBC at the time of me writing this over double the cost of the 92-rated version, Understandably this SBC has been heavily downvoted!

How did she perform in-game?

+ Let's start off with the obvious: the passing and especially the crossing is fantastic, there really isn't too much else to say in regards to this department, her deliveries are great!

+ Pace, goes without saying, she is fast, rapid on the break.

+ Shooting, her shot power in game is very good and it makes for some very effective cross goal strikers, It's a bit of a shame this card does not have Trivela in the playstyles as if it did I think I'd be more inclined to say the price could have some justification.

+ It's obvious to say given the Playstyle+ but Kelly's first touch and general control was again brilliant!

There isn't really anything that stands out in a negative way about the item in game, It's a really good wing option. That being said it's not perfect; the left foot (even though 4 stars) wasn't reliable and her physical stats don't seem as good as the stats suggest sadly. But still it's a high level wide option.

Chloe Kelly - Cop or Flop?

Honestly if not for the Fantasy item I could be tempted to go cop here, but it's just not good value for money in my opinion, and also when thinking about it more, we are in the early stages of TOTS we've still got another month of content to come and we'll get even more high-level wingers coming so unless you're a Man City fan I'd probably give this one a miss.

Verdict = Flop, due to price.
