If you are looking for (i would say one of the best, if not the best) "Allrounder" in Fifa 20 - McGinn is the player you are looking for.
You can play him as :
CAM (sniper chem style),
CM (Catalyst chem style) or
CDM (Shadow chem style).
As CAM:
He is an outstanding shooter, especially "outside the box distance shooting". Futbin say: no special shooting traits - but i am sure he has at least the long shot taker trait.
I played them all: Cr7, H. Kane, Messi etc., but the distance shooting from McGinn is a different level.
He also has a good dribbling. With the sniper chem style he has 95 agility and 93 balance - only the Composure could be better.
As CM:
With the Catalyst chem style he passes like modric or Tony Kroos, but he is stronger and has much more stamina
As CDM:
With Shadow he got all the things a good defender will need: Good speed, Good defending skills etc.
Only his hight (5'10") could be sometimes a problem.
Upgrade?
If you looking for a "cheap Gullit" - McGinn 84 Inform is the Answer. If you need to upgrade McGinnat some point: the next upgrade is the middle version of Gullit.
But If McGinn gets more Inform upgrades or a special card i would say he could outstrip Gullit´s middle version, for sure.
Best box2box Player
outstanding outside the Box distance shooter
good dribbling (ok, 4 star skill moves would be better, but he is good)
Just played the last FUT Champs with this guy in my squad. I got him in rewards and tried him out in the first WL matches, but kept him cause he’s a beast. He’s just sooooo good. I used him as CM (with Gladiator chem) along with Matthäus in a 4-4-2, so I needed him to defend and attack and he nailed it. With 81 strength and 88 balance there's no way to make him fall or get the ball from him. Very good also in standing tackle (82), good ball control and agility so he’s more than capable to run with the ball or keep it if you need to slow down the game. The pace for a CM is just what you need and the 95 stamina makes him run all the match without getting tired. Last part: Long shots, do you remember those overpowered long shots from 20-25 metres from FIFA 17? This guy is still playing that game. I scored 8 goals with him in 25 matches in FUT Champs, all of them from outside the box. I had Ndombele and Sissoko before him in than position along with Doucoure IF, but there’s nothing like this guy in the midfield. Trust me.
Stamina (95)
Combination between Strength (81) and Balance (88)
Long Shots (87) and Shot Power (85)
Good Short and Long Passing (85)
Good pace for a CM
Decent defending with 80 Interceptions and 82 Standing Tackle (put Gladiator or Shadow on him)
