If you want your goalkeeper to be amazing in one game, average in the next, and absolutely terrible in the 5 games after that, Asenjo is your guy. I have used him for 75 games now, but I haven't yet used a goalkeeper that I've disliked as much as Asenjo. So many mistakes and awful reflexes even though he has "decent" stats. He still is a decent GK in La Liga that I've tried for under 1.5K, bit only in the lower divisions. However do not bet your house on him, he is absolutely awful in higher divisions and vs players with higher finishing than 80. Even if you play against him, be happy, easy goals for you. If you don't have the coins for Courtois, Ter Stegen, Oblak or IF Bounou, you're better off building a team that can fit Areola.
All criticism aside, he is a decent goalkeeper in lower divisions, but even there he can be a big liability
