Gosens is a monster and a very cheap option if you have fodder. Gosens' pass is very useful and pace is okay, I mean, you don't need to put a shadow or an anchor, 86 of pace is very well. I use powerhorse in him and is a very great defender, also, he has a very great head shoots and interceptions. Obviously, he isn't perfect, shooting with him is always a problem (excepting when is with the head).
Gosens' dribble also is very good, maybe isn't the most agile, but if you use him like a CM this isn't a problem, indeed, he feels more useful in dribbles and play fast than players like Goretzka.
If you want a good B2B, links to Germany or Serie A, he is a great option
Pace, if you use him as B2B his pace is perfect, I mean, you can put it a shadow or anchor, but isn't neccesary, I prefer powerhors
Defense, intercepts a lot, also has a very great tackles
Agility, balance and reactions allows him to move faster than another B2B options
Jump and heading are very well, so you have a great heading scorer with him
Position, I use him like LF and his chemistry is 7. Also, he is using a place for the Striker or for the left Winger, so if You don't play with 4 CM's or You don't have a great CM/ST who can plays like winger, maybe is gonna be a problem
Shoot, as well, is s Rulebreaker, so obviously he is gonna have one bad stat. Isn't a very bad shoot, but sometimes he is your unique option for shoot and can be a problem. You CAN'T do long shoots with him, he sucks in that
I played him LM/LWB in a 3-5-2 first; didnt like his pace or bodytype there.
Since my DM was already filled with Parejo and Llorente at that point, it tried him out at middle CB and he was amazing.
He has High/High workrates and has the right bodytype to play CB.
I played Koulibaly there before, but he was feeling very stiff and i was getting dribbled in 1vs1's sometimes, so i wanted to try someone new. Gosens fit that description very well. He is almost as physical, but does have a bit of Agility and changes directions fast.
His jumping is very goo, but i just couldnt score a header with him; he would win many heading-duels, but it would just go wide; so thats perfect in the defense as well: He just wins headers.
So to go stat by stat:
Pace: Fast, very good for a CB, not fast enough for a LWB/LM
Shooting: Not that good but doesnt matter
Passing: Very good for a CB, decent for a CM
Dribbling: Good, feels agile for his height and physicality
Defending: Very Good, in positions most times, does not move to far forward on stay back
Physicality: Great, can bully players off the ball; wins headers
