Well I chose Grant from level 30 purely for the link to the Magloire card, and played him in a 4-3-1-2 on the right next to mid Hernandez. I play him in Div 2 rivals as well as Champs. I really didn't really expect too much from him as he looked fairly mediocre, especially with the 75 composure, 77 balance, med/med work rates and him being 3* 3*, but wow was I surprised. In game he is an absolute beast in everything he does, being far more impressive than the likes of David's winter wildcard and Hernandez mid.
Firstly, his shooting is outstanding, with by far the best finishing on a card I've used this year. In the box it is pretty much a guaranteed goal on either foot and, even with the 3* weak foot, I could hardly tell. He is brilliant at near post finishes, as well as being great at long shots, however I would stay clear of finesse shots outside of the box as he hasn't got the trait or curve to really be good at them. As far as his work rates go, they are pretty much obsolete for me as he makes many good runs to get through the defence.
Secondly, his pace is also very nice, with him being able to outpace many centre backs in the game and, coupled with his decent strength, he can often out-muscle opponents to get past them as well.
His passing is decent enough with 83 short passing, but his long passing can leave a lot to be desired.
His dribbling is also very impressive in tight spaces and often helps him get shots away, but due to his 3* skills, a ball-roll is often the best way to get around players. He also pops up with the occasional headed goal with his good jumping and height.
His defending doesn't matter too much but due to his strength and body type he often can win the ball back.
Overall, I would highly recommend using this card if you can fit him in, which shouldn't be too hard with the abundance of good championship cards this FIFA and solid English links. He truly is a great hidden gem and the best striker I've used this game.
A very meta card imo. He's surprisingly very quick and can dribble past defenders with ease. He's 6 foot meaning he is a good presence in the box giving him a better advantage in the air. He's very agile too. However his 3* 3* lets him down at times. Being very reliant on his right foot and only being able to do a ball roll.
