Lethal Finisher
Score 8 Finesse goals in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals)
Pretty decent in game. I've expected worse. With glove he has been insane for me. He may concede 1-2 goals in a match, but if you defend well then it's not a problem. (sorry for my English) I'm using VVD and De Ligt RTTK as a strong partnership together with Bijlow and this trio is so insane. Only downside is his height. He is pretty vulnerable at corners and set pieces, because of his height. His short-range/1v1's save reflexes are meh. Like gattuso said with short-range "sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sh*t". Links should be a problem too. He is pretty fast tho.
To preface: I am not a good player. I hover between div 5 and 3 in rivals and don't play weekend league. Just play for fun, and like to try new teams.
I used Bijlow in an Eredivisie/Japan hybrid while I'm doing the Eredivisie objectives. Ultimately working towards an Eredivisie/Japan/SerieA hybrid. As you can see in the squad ... it is NOT a good defense in front of Bijlow. The Eredivisie objectives are mainly for the Eredivisie defensive players ... so I don't have them yet. And the friendly objectives needs a team with a max OVR of a 78 anyway, so, need some lower overall players.
The bad defense in front of him didn't matter. Bijlow makes every single save he should and then some. When someone would get past my entirely <80 defense, he would bail me out.
Obviously, there are better keepers in the game, but he is more than useable. Great Eredivisie links and brings the whole team together. He's not a perfect keeper, but he's good.
Seemed to make some really nice saves
Has a BOOT for a leg
Does a good job coming out to stop breakaways
Not much seems different from other keepers I've used. Gets beat cross net. But who doesn't?
