As soon as I saw his card, the first thing I thought was auto-defender. He has 99 defence and 95 pace with a shadow, and looked like a great partner to the smaller, more agile Timber in my backline. It's been going ok so far. In the elite division, he can feel a bit clunky when matched up against more agile strikers and wingers, however, his blocks and his recovery work is brilliant. Even if he does get beaten, he can always recover really well to block the shot or a pass. His aerial ability is decently threatening as well and the 4 star weak foot means he can pass on both feet. Would recommend, but only if you have the fodder or desperately need a dutch or serie a CB.

Cant defend more agile strikers and wingers
i was in search of a new cb to fit my serie a triangle, to link to darmian and di natale. i figured to put darmian at dm from cb, di lorenzo at rb and de vrij taking the cb spot, because darmian wasnt all that.
Seeing a price tag of 240k for him i was reluctant to complete his sbc but his stats and the 5* skills combined with 4*wf looked really interesting to me so i decided to complete it. the price was just 1 of many downside to this card. (so far anyway). FIRST OFF he cant turn to save his life. even with an engine he feels clunky asf, which may not be an issue, but turning against pacey, agile wingers and attackers was very difficult for him. This was expected thought because he is tall and has somewhat low agility and balance. You'd think this would mean he is a wall in defence, towering and dominating the box. I was so disappointed with the way he can't retain the ball 70% of the time! Every time he made a big tackle i thought to myself that he redeemed himself and finally working for me. No, because after that he rarely wins the ball. I was so disappointed but kept going with him because i to unlock him, due to the hefty price. when he does make tackles that.. actually wins the ball they are impressive and some animations are really cool. his passing is good btw. I could go further but there are some upsides.
5* on a cb is very unique and is useful when moving forward. His skill animations are actually quick for a big player like him and he can really carry the ball forward and make plays. The 4* wf also helps and feels like a 5* tbh, i dont feel a difference between his left and right. seeing this, i tried to use him at dm swapping out darmian, but it didnt work all that well because he barely moves. It's been a couple days but he isnt for me. my cozza from december outperforms him somehow. This will prob be disliked coz futbin thinks every review has to be positive or 'u r just div 10 or just sh!t at the game'. dont recommend but may be better for you. btw darmian at rdm is craazy.
