First review but I've actually enjoyed using him these past few days that he's been out so I figured I would pitch in.
I tried him out in a 4-2-3-1 Narrow formation as the right CM with Shadow, he actually has some decent dribbling but using him as a B2B is NOT what you should do with the 3 WF.
I noticed he really shined once I set him to the Stay Back instruction and cover center.
Now, the "gold standard" for CDMs is always Kante with his crazy positioning and interceptions and I can safely say that Lemoine gets you about 80-90% of the way there.
He is not Kante, but Kant-ish. He had good positioning and on the stay back instruction he does well to intercept, and even has some of the Kante style jockeying that allows him to move side to side very quickly and efficiently.
My favorite thing about him other than his positioning is his physical presence for being a smaller player. He is very strong and his high aggression allows him to win a lot of his duels and he can do it all game.
Overall I would say he is a 7/8 out of 10 with the obvious downside being 3 star / 3 star BUT he is FREE and that is slightly less important as a stay back CDM if you truly play him in that way.
Also, I would just like to say that I originally completed him to get some links on my hybrid team but ended up keeping him since he actually performed.
Overall, I don't think you would be disappointed if you did this card. Worst case you have some extra fodder.
