ROBBIE KEANE - HEROES FIFA 22 Prices and Rating

Having stuck with a BPL team this year, I've found a few issues finding a higher class striker that goes above and beyond.

However, this card sorted that issue out. With insane agility, pace and shooting, I find myself walking away from games thinking 'did he really just do that?'.

Although not an end game card, this card will happily see you through beginning - mid stages of the game cycle.

Also for squad context, I pair him upfront with 90 R9 (worth 2.2million) and lets just say he can definitely pull his weight.

Having also used CR7 in my squad, I would happily suggest this is the best BPL striker in the game right now.

I played Keane for over 70 games now and I must say he really is excellent. I also played him in Fut Champions as well as Division 1 and he is an absolute beast. I personally play him in a 4222 with Werner, just because this is by far my most favorite formation. However, he will also do very well in a single striker formation, as this card just breaks any rules.

Keane feels really agile and easy to control and any close ball movements and dribblings will feel very smooth with him. Furthermore, he converts nearly all shots inside the box into a goal. Shots from Outside the box can be a bit more tricky but inside the box he is a deadly finisher. I would recommend to play him with a Hunter, as he (only) has 87 pace. The Hunter will boost him to nearly max pace and give a juicy boost to his shooting.

Also important to note is his 88 stamina. This means you can pretty much expect him to perform for 120 minutes, which is important for a card of his price caliber. To round this card off, he has a solid 4* weak foot and 4* skills with high/medium work rates, which is excellent.

His passing is decent.

In Addition, there are not that many alternatives for a striker in the BPL in that price range except maybe for Solskjaer, which I cannot recommend (slow and unagile). After that, all you are left with is either CR7 or Werner/Aubamenyang etc, so Keane is perfect for a medium budget. Personally i would say he is worth at least 600-700k. Also you have the nice side effect that he offers a green link to all bpl players.

The only 2 downsides I can mention is the fact that he is not super strong, with only 71 strength and a height of 175cm and that he is not particularly good in the air, so don't expect him to score with his head. But his strength is not really a problem, as he compensates with his speed and agility.

To summarize his most important features: He feels very fast and super agile, he has deadly finishing and will pretty much convert anything inside the box, he links very well and is not too expensive. So I definitely recommend you to try him out, especially if you have bpl players in your squad, as he will link very well. He just feels so smooth to play with and he makes the game seem really easy. He just has the perfect combination between speed, agility and finishing, that makes him one of the best cards in this game so far.

Fun Fact: He has better stats that 87 Dalglish, who is 2.5 times his price :)

Robbie Keane is a 9.5/10 striker. Does everything very well and the only bad things about him are just fifa being fifa.

Pace is very good he is very quick but I think his dribbling makes him feel a bit slower compared to my other striker IF Jesus which they basically have the same pace.

Shooting is so good as well, scores most of his chances and can shoot first time shots very well. Keepers can do some crazy things and his shooting is great but compared to Lukaku and Haland who I have also used it isn't as consistent from hard angles. Finesse trait means he can do those broken finesse shots and he scores them pretty consistently so it's worth it to try and green time a finesse in certain situations. His weak foot is good only had a couple bad moments with it from tough angles.

Dribbling is amazing can turn quick and accelerate very quickly to get past defenders. One downside is the strength can let him get pushed off the ball pretty easily by strong dms and cbs.

Passing is all you can ask for. In a two striker formation his short passing gets the job done and he can put a through ball in consistently enough never had a big problem with it compared to some other players.

Physicality is not great but he isn't that kind of player. wins like every 4th header and gets pushed off the ball if he isn't moving quickly.

His AI runs are great and he is in the right position most of the time which helps toward the end of the game when stamina is low he can get first time shots off in the box when you can't run all the time.

Overall he is probably the second best prem striker in the game obviously under CR7. The hero links are a huge plus but inflate his price to more than his ability is worth.

I've been playing FUT since it first became part of FIFA many years ago and in all those years I probably haven't had a better striker than Keane.

In most games he feels like a cheat code to me because he is so agile, so quick and hits the back of the net from all angles with both feet.

His positioning is something I haven't seen in any other player and if you only play him up front in the central role, he scores his goals in every game - you know how it is, sometimes you get really destroyed in FUT Champs - even in those cases Keane still scores his 2-3 goals. 

I've been playing the Weekend League / FUT Champs regularly for the last few years but in FUT22 I had trouble qualifying for a long time. Since I've had Keane as my striker I've qualified regularly and played tournaments with 47 points, which is absolutely crazy for me.

I've tried much more expensive icons who had much better stats and I've always gone back to Keane. He definitely plays like an icon and absolutely has that 'meta feeling'. Don't let the 86 fool you, he is one of the best strikers in the game.

Robbie Keane for me is between a 9-9.5/10 striker.. Does exactly as it says on the tin..

Pace - Keane is very fast in game with his 86 Sprint Speed and 88 Acceleration.. With an Hunter he can unlock most defences with his blistering pace..

Shooting - Keane's shooting is ridiculous.. Give him 10 chances and he'll easily score 8 of them (including 1 on 1s).. As he also has the Finesse Shot trait he can score finesses on a consistent level.. 4 Star weak foot is also decent, he scores with his left as well as his right..

Dribbling - He is so agile and can easily dribble out of any situation.. With his 88 Acceleration he also breezes past defenders with ease.. Only downside is his Strength as he can be easily pushed off the ball..

Passing - While playing him in a 2 striker formation with Level 30 Bou, he does his job very well.. Can pass and through ball very well.. With changing my team as much as I have this FIFA, I haven't found anyone that can pass the ball better than Keane and Bou..

Physical - Not great but isn't a physical striker.. If you want someone who's more Physical then go for the likes of Lukaku..

Out of all the strikers I've used so far, Keane by a longshot is the best striker I've used..

Hero links do help a lot when trying to link to other players as he provides a strong link to any Prem player..

First of all, I have to say that I'm spanish and this is my first review, so forgive my mistakes pls. According to Robbie's stats, he should be a nice striker, but he is even better. I've played more than 50 games with him and I can say that he is the best striker I've tried so far. I will explain why:-Pace: For me, this is the most remarkable stat. With a hunter on it, he should run a lot, but his speed boost is the best I've ever tried. Believe me, he makes every defender look slow when he gets the ball, turns and does the first steps. Nobody will catch you if you do it right.

-Shooting: He is a deadly striker with both foots, due to his shoot power, and also his traits. In the box, he almost never miss a chance. Out of the box, he could be better but we can't ask too much for a striker.

-Passing: He is not really good at it, but he doesn't lose many balls.

-Dribbling: Despite not being so agile as others, I think he is really good when he turns. He could be better at facing a defender 1 vs 1, although with his speed boost, you don't need skills at all.

-Physicality: He is quite strong, and sometimes he gets a through ball because he runs over the defender, but he won't keep the ball if you collide with a strong defender.

Well I tried most of the meta strikers this year, and let me tell you, this guy is a BEAST. I'm a div2 player, rank II in weekend league. Using this dude in 4321 formation as the center striker, Hunter chemistry style on him. I have a 1mill squad, this guy takes more than half of my budget and it definitely worths it. Just pass him the ball and you feel how smooth he is. His weak food is good, I never try to turn to bring the ball to his right foot if I have an opportunity with her left foot, scored many goals with his left. Usually strikers (for me at least) are surrounded by the opponent players so it's a bit harder for them to make the opportunities, It's easier for midfielders, you may mostly just find your striker and pass him the ball when he has a chance to finish. But Robbie Keane is the guy to make the difference. He's not a player who only shines in only "some" matches. He scores and shines in almost every game, he's not easy to handle for defenders. He never misses in the box, whether you use finesse or normal finishing. In my opinion, the only reason that you shouldn't buy this guy is the price. If you can afford him, I think you "must" give him a try, he might be that striker you were always looking for =))

I got this lad untradable from such a shit pack so I couldn't believe my eyes. His price at that moment was about 500k and I underrated him so much because of that. I thought he was like Werner or other casual st from pl, but this one is special. He scores everything in front of a goal. He can chip a goalkeeper or dribble past him. He has wonderful shooting and what is crucial great agility, it's so easy to dribble with him. His weak foot not 4 but 5 stars, he really doesn't care how to shoot he just scores. His jumping is low and he can hardly score a header despite the fact that he is 175, but it's not a big problem I think.

Best Striker used so far. I played with Gomez, Mané, Werner, Son, Jesus and so on but this Keane was literally the best.

I play him with Son in 4-4-2 as the left striker an he´s an alround beast. His heading and jumping are very good although he´s not the tallest one. I will play him until icon swaps are released I swear. No reason to sell him.

I have used him for almost 80 games in Div 2 and WL and he has overperfomed my expectations by far. His finishing is the best I have used and is really up there with the best. The movement is also really good. With 86 balance and agility it is just enough to make him feel very agile. It also helps that he's only 5 foot 9. This also comes with a downside because he rarely wins any headers. 4 star, 4 star and high/medium is also what you want from your striker. He feels underrated because I never see him in teams in weekend league or rivals. I think he is best in a striking partnership, I used him alongside Son.
