Hey everyone, today i will be reviewing: Timo Werner!
Backstory:
So basically i raged beacuse all of my opponents in league 3 have god squads and i have correa as my striker (he was still good tho). I remembered that i have soooo many investments on my transfer list and i sold them and i ended up with Turbo Timo as my striker. And boy what a good change it was.
Anyways, let me go to the ratings...
Pace: 10/10
What can I say? He is the fastest striker in Premier League besides Daka.
Shooting: 10/10
Best finisher I have tried so far. Almost every shot goes in.
Passing: 7/10
As Gennaro Gattuso once said: "Sometimes maybe good sometimes maybe crap"
Dribbling: 7/10
Not the best i have ever seen but definitly not the worst.
Defending: N/A
Why would you even want to use him defensively?
Physicality: 7/10
Lasts the entire game and doesn't get bullied on the ball. Not too bad.
Overall: 9/10
Let me get this straight to anyone who wants to use him. He is the type of a striker to run and shoot kinda like Haaland but more agile. Don't dribble with him too much.
Other than that he is amazing. If you know not to dribble with him too much then get him! You won't regret it.
Werner is an absolute BEAST this year in fifa. he is very fast, agile and unlike irl a great finisher. he can score from all angles. I partnered him with bigger strikers like Lukaku and Haaland in a 442 formation. You should definetly buy Werner this year as he is very cheap and one of the only strikers who is quick, agile and a great finisher. in other words: KANKER GOED
Finishing: Is a great finisher in and outside the box; Can score form all angles
I will be honest, first time I thought Timo was not very good because I failed like 3 or 4 very clear 1vs1 ocassions with him, so I decided to change him first for Ben Yedder, who is like very good on finishing but slow, slow for how I play the game, so I sold Ben and buy Aubameyang, who is the worst option between these three, not so fast and very clunky.
I went back to Timo because I preferred a fast and agile player instead of a good only at finishing and it was the best decision, once you learn how to use him you will outpass more defences at this stage of the game without any major issues, also he feels stronger than Ben Yedder so that is also why I recommend him over the other options. Use him with Finisher.
Pace (very fast)
Movement (more agile than expected)
Strenght
Stamina
3* Skills
Passing (decent)
Nationality (if you have an hybrid with French players you will need Kante to give him good chem)
Ok in my opinion this card is amazing for the price. Im waiting for Lukaku to go lower in price to pair them to together but in the meantime he's with Jesus. Whenever there's a breakaway change for me Timos always up in front and I can rely on him do to his high pace but sometimes when there's a huge chance he's just staying in the mid or outside the box. His finishing is not amazing so I put a finisher chem style on him and he shoots pretty well.
Good Pace
With finisher has good shooting
Mostly has good positioning
Sometimes a bit sloppy and doesn't go fast up for the ball and stays where a mid would
Great pace, great shot, good positioning. But his passing is letting my down a lot. I know it's only 70 overall but it becomes quite ridicolous sometimes. I tried him as ST but unless he gets a through ball he's pretty much useless for me 1-2's isn't very consistent.
I've now tried hima s LF with more succes. he's not the main man and now he goes diagonally towards goal with his great shooting and pace which has seen a lot more succes here.
So i used him along dybala as a striker and i have to say, im surprised. His stats arent even looking incredibly good or smth but he feels amazing in game. He's a little bit clunky with the ball (slow turns, 3* skill moves). But if you are in a shooting position with Timo, its a goal, he is a clinical finisher. Positioning is amazing and hes fast as f*ck.
Overall a great striker, a real game changer - it works best if you have a second striker with good dribbling and passing (like dybala in my case).
i bought this guy because i saw a tweet by pieface, so i trusted him forgetting that he is not very good at the game, saying hes the best card in the game, and at first he was but then it all went downhill. he started passing the ball and he is atrocious at passing. another funny thing is that he is always offside which is accurate so i have to applaud ea for that, also 3 star skills ruins every card for me because he cant even do a skilled bridge, which is one of the best skill moves this year.
very fast
attacking positioning is good when he isnt offside
