So.. Since van Basten isn't really an Icon that many people are willing to buy, just because he isn't "meta", I will keep it short this time, instead of writing a whole essay like I normally do :).

First off I want to say that his rating is a big disgrace from EA, winning a Ballon D'or 3 times, isn't an achievement a lot of players can say they have, so in my opinion, his Prime Icon should at least be 95 rated, that being said, lets get in to the review.

All the 10 games were played in the weekend league with van Basten, I was 5-1, and after those 10 games, we were 12 in 4, so I decided to give away my last 4 games.

Pace = 8/10

At first, I thought he was going to feel really slow, because of the height, agility, and balance, and of course due to the fact that he "only" has 83 pace on his Prime card, but no, he felt way faster then I thought, of course you can't compare him to someone like Mbappe, but still.

Shooting = 9.5/10

This weekend had one of the worst gameplay I have seen since the release of Fifa 22, but still Marco's positioning is incredible and he rarely misses the target, the combination of 96 positioning, 97 finishing, and 94 shot power is absolutely deadly, and I didn't even mention the 98 volleys, with a 4* WF, that most of the times, feel like a 5* WF.

Passing = 7.5/10

He isn't the guy to give a 48meter pass across the pitch, or anything special, but his short passes are quite good, and so is his passing in general.

Dribbling = 8/10

Except for the agility and balance which I have already covered, his dribbling is absolutely insane, the reactions, the ball control, the composure, he rarely has a bad touch, which is so helpful if your playing.a fast build up like me.

Defending = N/A

Physical = 7/10

The Stamina, the main issue of this card, 78 just isn't enough, especially if the game needs extra time, I really felt the stamina since like the 75th minute, which in some cases are the most important minutes of the game. The aggression is on the low side as well, just not enough against defenders like Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Varane etc.

The only reason I give his Physical a 7, is because of the jumping, and the strength he will provide to you in game.

And yes, I said I wasn't going to write an entire Essay? Well... here I am I guess...

Last things said, For the people wondering why I'm using van Bergen his 73 rated silver card at ST, I just love the bloke, not just since his milestone card from last year, but since he moved from Vitesse to Heerenveen in 2018.
