First of all, if you think this legend sucks in this game, newsflash: you suck in this game.

For the third year in a row now, I have a lot of fun building my Dutch team. Being Dutch myself, it just gives so much pleasure and fun to use all these cards.

I only do Dutch player SBC's and every year, EA is doing a fantastic job creating beautiful cards to use.

Because I had a lot of fodder while opening a lot of packs and the Prime Icon Upgrade was really fairly priced, I decided to give it a try. All I wanted was a Dutch player and, unbelievably, I did. This man right here, 'San' Marco van Basten.

Obviously, he went straight into my team and he has been absolutely incredible. Use him well and you have a top notch striker. Ofcourse, he is no speed demon or a skiller, but when he gets the ball in the box, it will be a goal. Every. Single. Time.

He shoots the bal through the net, his heading is incredible, his left-stick dribbling is really good, especially for such a strong, tall player. His passing is not great, but since he doesn't need a shooting boost, so the way I play him, as a pure striker (in my opinion the only way to use him), a Catalyst will be perfect to boost his speed and passing. Pair him up with a fast, agile striker (Overmars or Boetius are great options) and you will absolutely destroy opponents up front.

And for the price, he is an absolute bargain.

By the way, his rating obviously should have been way higher, being one of the best strikers of all time, having won 3 ballon d'ors before retiring at age 28. But in game, his Icon boost really shows. Just have fun guys, Marco will certainly give you the pleasure. Don't be upset if you pack him from an Icon pick or pack, he is an absolute beast.

P.S. Please EA, give us GIO as an icon, so we can actually play with a Dutch left-back :)
