Really solid starter CM I play him with a catalyst alongside Alaba who is my more defensive minded CM in a 4231. Engine might be a good shout too.

He’s quick, moves around the pitch well and excellent when he has the ball. Passing with a boost is very good. Has pitched in with a few goals but his shooting isn’t special, will only score nailed on chances. Has incredible stamina which also really helps.

Superior CM for me to Valverde, a card priced much much higher. 

He might work well more defensively with a shadow but passing and dribbling boosts on this years game right now are more important in my opinion. So use him as a secondary or tertiary CM with a more defensive player beside him. 

Strong links to Martinez, Skriniar and Dumfries at Inter. Chiesa and Insigne among others from Italy.
