As soon as I saw his card, the first thing I thought was auto-defender. He has 99 defence and 95 pace with a shadow, and looked like a great partner to the smaller, more agile Timber in my backline. It's been going ok so far. In the elite division, he can feel a bit clunky when matched up against more agile strikers and wingers, however, his blocks and his recovery work is brilliant. Even if he does get beaten, he can always recover really well to block the shot or a pass. His aerial ability is decently threatening as well and the 4 star weak foot means he can pass on both feet. Would recommend, but only if you have the fodder or desperately need a dutch or serie a CB.
