I tried him both as LW and ST as well - with HUNTER chem. style
The card is not what I expected. I have to be honest, straight away I realized that my expectations of the card are not going to be met. I expected him to be rapid quick and agile while maybe not as good finisher. The truth is, it is the exact opposite of what I expected. He is not that rapid quick even with hunter chem. style applied, and he feels very bulky and stiff on ball, which is probably because of his height 6"0. On the other hand when I used him as ST I actually felt like I am finally getting something from the card, that it has some value. He was scoring goals and he got multiple hattricks in few division rivals matches. Still felt bulky and slow, but his finishing was surprisingly good! As an LW he was underwhelming and not very effective.
If I would have to compare him, I would say he feels very similiar to Carrasco PTG who is also tall, quick and very agile with high dribling. Difference being, Carrasco is much more effective as an winger because he feels much quicker (actually one of the quickest cards I have used this year), also has better agility and dribling all around and Ferran probably better option as ST (at least for now) - I loved Carrasco and I like Ferran, which says it all. Probably just get Carrasco who feels better, more responsive and more fun while also much cheaper.
On the other hand, it is very possible that Ferran might get upgraded and that is why I actually completed this SBC. You pay more coins and fodder, but you are not completing it for the base non upgraded version. You do it because you want to see him upgraded. Thats when he will most likely feel much better, quicker and also agile. We will have to see tough...
Conclusion - Nice card, however without upgrade he will be outdated in a few days/weeks and for now Carrasco seems to be much better and smarter option. You get very similar player but better and cheaper.
