I packed Messi untradeable for the first time of my life, i was flabergasted, i had to modify my team to use him, it wasn't a big issue, because a really needed a new RW, so my team si so much better now. I play on next gen, so this is my review.
I can say he's better at CAM than on RW, he has better presence, the shooting is pretty nice, cause you can try it form anywere and the ball constantly hits the net. His FKA is out of this world, the best shooter in the game on my opinion.
The passing is so good, if u have a lethal striker like Haaland or Cr7 (someone lengthy), Messi does the job so well.
Fifa 23 on next gen is weird, sometimes you can score solo goals and there is games where your rival can do 83 tackles with 92% efficiency (real stat) so sometimes its a little bit annoying to run with messi, i can say that his height its a problem, but idk he's still pretty good

Oh my golly gosh. What have I just witnessed. This is the most pleasureable experience to play with such a marvellous chap. Messi the chappo, oh what a player. His foot moves at the speed of a gazelle, eloquently agile and hunting after its prey. What an outstaning performance this was last matchus. Simply splendid. My gosh he can dribble. My great friend Bobby Moore tried to tackle him... and fell on his abnormally large backside. Messi looked round and said 'ho ho ho, that was a bit easy my friend.' And then he body feinted the ball through the poor goalkeepers legs, who consequently fell on his universally-sized backside too, and chipped the ball into the BULGING net that rippled on contact. This man is the most gifted Central Attacking Midfielder (if you pray care to play him there inside the game tactics). So go and splash the cash right now, chaps and chappetes!
Agility is off the charts, folks. Shooting is out of this world, chaps. Passing is out of the galaxy, my old companions.
Ability to make his fellow chaps and chapettes fall on their large backside - 1000 trillion / 10
Physicality
Defending is irrelavent
He's not lengthy, which is irrelavent nowadays, but many people are lengthy when they watch him dribble...
La Pulga
Where do I start?
His passing is next to none, pin point balls from one side of the pitch to the other and even simple through balls to a lengthy ST. His shooting is brilliant, especially his trivelas. Surprisingly, in 24 games he didn't score one outside the box finesse though. For me, the low/low workrates were unnoticeable and he seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. His defensive and physical abilities were massively underrated as I found him not being shoved off the ball too easily and intercepting as well as tackling opponents. His dribbling was incredible, need I say more it is Messi after all. He did feel a bit slow at times with most center backs catching up to him so its better to play quick passing football rather than sprinting with him. His stamina was also fairly good because he didn't need to be subbed off.
All of the games played were in Div 1/FUT Champs as a box to box CM in a 433 (3)
