Wales - ST - ICON - Rush :'(

To be fair he isnt the worst pull out of this pack, that honour belongs to Trezeguet, but i'm doing this review anyway to potentially provide some hope for those who were dealt a bad hand from the 87 max icon SBC.... like myself. cry*

So these are my thoughts after 8 games in Rivals div 3

I will start by saying that he is fairly usable at this stage of the game, however there are better options out there and he will fall way behind the power curve pretty soon if he already hasnt.

I was actually a little surprised by how clean he felt, he doesnt actually feel that heavy in game, his playstyle plus is definetly a factor in this. He also feels quite solid in game, doesnt get out-muscled that much. His biggest strength is definetely his finishing, its a shame he didnt keep his 5 star weak foot because everything else is top in that department. He has all the playstyles you want from a ST and his bread and butter is a nice first touch in the box and then a finish in a variety of ways, he's actually pretty clinical. The problem you'll have is that getting him into those positions is a task due to his poor passing and dribbling after he has taken his first touch which just makes it hard to build up play with him.

All in all i'd say he's just above average, he's something different than the meta cards i guess and you can have some fun with him, but he simply doesnt cut it when your grinding out games against the rats.

There is an Aspas flashback SBC who i now have and he is clear of Rush for roughly the same price.
