Hello guys and welcome to a review on this 88 rated EA FC ICON Laurent Blanc. After a long time of consideration I finally decided that I should complete Blanc's ICON SBC. That was y best decision this year.

PACE (8/10):

Blanc's acceleration ain't something special, it feels like 75 however his sprint speed is broken and feels like at least 90. Blanc can catch up to anyone with his giant legs.

SHOOTING (N/A)

Side note: Blanc's penalties is very good. 90 Penalties and 79 Shot Power.

PASSING (7/10):

Blanc's passing is solid for a CB and enough for a CDM. His short passing is on point however his over the top through balls ain't something special.

DRIBBLING (6/10):

Blanc's dribbling is also enough for a CB or a CDM however keep it simple with him. Don't get me wrong, his ability on the ball is better than most CB's however he ain't Messi.

DEFENDING (10/10):

90 Defending without a chem style. Anticipate+. 192 cm/ 6'4''. (+ Basic Jockey and basic Bruiser) Do I have to say anything more? Blanc's defending is out of this world. I even wan't to go as far as saying Blanc's defending is better than VVD's however VVD has a bit better physicality. Blanc has a ball magnet on his body and the ball always seem to bounce his way.

PHYSICALITY (9/10):

Not a brutal powerhouse however his strength is very good. At first I thought that it would be a problem however his 84 Strength combined with the Bruiser play style is very effective. His stamina is also very good for a CB.

In conclusion Blanc is EVERYWHERE in defense. His Anticipate+ with his own animations makes this card a top CB. He is also very very valuable for team building because of his links. Only CB's on his level for the price is 88 Araujo, 88 Evo Varane, VVD and 88 Kompany. This card is clear of Desailly. Don't believe anything else.
