    Got Cech as my best choice in the first of the year in review picks. I had already done the Schmeichel SBC and was set at keeper. Schmeichel seemed better in every way stat-wise, so I accepted that Cech would likely end up as fodder. Then I tried him.


    I'm now at 18 games played with him, and can confidently say he's the best, most consistent GK I've used so far this year. I won't be returning to Schmeichel.


    If you consider yourself to be a stingy defender that doesn't give up good chances/space and really makes your opponent have to work for a shot, and you just need your GK to clean up the garbage when something gets through, Cech is your guy.


    Before Cech I was using Schmeichel for 100 or so games, before that I had Alisson for a couple months, and Donnarumma before that. 88 Cech is clear of them all.

    • He's actually really good at dealing with 1 on 1's. I don't give up many of them but he's been very solid when I do.
    • He doesn't have the saves with feet trait but does so often for me.

    • I have stopped conceding glitchy off balance half-chance EA gift goals since putting him in. He doesn't really spill rebounds at all.
    • I've found that the few times he's gotten beat on a 1 on 1, it's actually been when I've moved him. So try to avoid doing that with Cech, and just trust him to make the save if your opponent gets thru your back line.
    • No helmet :(
    • Not really a Cech specific Con as this applies to every keeper in the game, but if you allow good chances and expect him to rescue you, you will be disappointed. Your coins would be better spent on an elite back line.

    Worst goalkeeper I have ever used
    Undoubtly the worst goalkeeper I have ever used in any fifa. Even some random 82 rated keeper is better than this guy. It feels like hes a bronze striker being played in goalkeeper at times. What a waste of an icon packed. I thought that even if he was average, it would look cool being on the team however he isn't even average. The only good thing about him is he is an icon, thats it. He doesn't even have a hat. Words cannot ...
