The Zidane

Zidane is just insane. I used him in a 4-4-1-1 (2) as my CAM with 88 Evolution Kolo Muani ST, Winter Wildcard Icon Suker LM, and UEFA Road to Knockout Saka RM and Zidane is just smooth. He plays better than his stats show, and he feels so agile most of the time and for some reason, like FIFA 23, he is FAST! Also, his shooting is like a rocket launcher, he is spectacular, and he is always in the right position, well most of the time. I recently got him so I haven't seen his defending and passing much but he is good all around. Additionally, his skill moves feel very quick and effective, which makes him a hard player to go against, and his weak foot just hits perfectly. Even without doing fancy skill moves, you can just dribble with him or pass and it is still amazing. His playstyle plus of first touch is so useful when he is being pressed, especially as a CAM when he faces CM, CDM, and CB. He is a little expensive, but with the time remaining, do him.

After using this guy for 310 games, I can confidently say that this guy THRIVES in 4231 as a CAM with free role. He gets so many motm from playing that role. I've tried him in many formations as 41212(2), 442, 4222, 4321, 4213, etc. Don't get me wrong, he performs very well in many positions, but he is just so much better as a cam in a free role.
