I packed vvd from a 75+ pp and have been putting this review off for a bit now just coz he's so good to use and I can't stop playing with him. He has great defensive awareness, and the Aerial+ PS helps in aerial duels. I run 3atb so I have to trust my wingers to track back in defence, but when sudden breaks are made VVD is always stepping up and making the tackles and preventing the breaks. He has excellent blocking, often blocking shots from close range when he's that last man. However that said he does have some negatives, but most are expected with a player of his build. Even with a Shadow equipped, he still felt slow at top speed, and movement at times felt less than 74 dribble, likely due to his build and height. Another problem I found was that when I went to slide tackle, he often doesn't finish as good as POTM Maguire (likely due to no Slide Tackle PS or just my play of game) and got several cards as a result. He also has poor stamina, often at 60fitness in 65min (when I make most my changes) which was annoying and didn't turn up on corners, hiding further back near the penalty spot which was confusing considering his Aerial PS+. However when he takes them, you're bound to score (unfortunately I haven't yet coz people can guard well lol) . Even still an amazing card and well worth of 900k price tag.
