I can't believe how little this card is being used. I'm playing him as an Advanced Forward on Complete, in a 4-3-3(2), with a Deadeye on him. He's got 17 goals in 10 games but I've only heard the final whistle go off twice. Get the ball anywhere to this card anywhere near the penalty area and he'll put it in the top corner. Unreal striker.

It still upsets me I didn't get him red last month. He's played about 150 games for me now, and is a card I keep returning to. Put a powerhouse on him, and I'm telling you, he's as just as good, if not better, than every CM/DM in the league (that's under 150k)

This one is the one I'd recommend. For the price difference & the biggest boost being plus 3 to pace, it's just not worth it.

Honestly, his IF is my second favourite CDM this year behind IF Casemiro. Portugal should do really well this World Cup, so this should get to an 89+ relatively easily

The upgrade has made him so good. He's been a bench option for a while that I hardly used, but brought him on 4 times last night, playing as an attacking RM a 4-4-2 and got five goal involvements in less than 4 lots of 30 minutes. I've had a PL/La Liga team but because of how good he now is, I'm changing the La Liga half to Serie A instead. He's brilliant now after this upgrade, but after the WC upgrade too, he'll be insane..

Whilst it's sad this is how he's had to retire, it's good to know that he still has his entire life ahead of him and he's not had a cardiac arrest on the pitch that could have ended in the worst way.

The thing is though, yes it's a nice upgrade on his normal anyways, but he's going to get that plus two upgrade easily, so it is really worth doing for what will be a 90 rated Bernardo Silva.
